The IDF continues operational activity in the Gaza Strip

IDF troops are continuing precise, intelligence-based operational activity in the Rafah area. 
Over the past day, the troops eliminated numerous terrorists in close-quarters encounters and IAF strikes.

IDF troops are continuing operational activity in Khan Yunis.
Over the past day, IDF troops eliminated dozens of terrorists, including terrorists who fired toward the troops, and dismantled terrorist infrastructure.

Over the past day, the IAF struck 35 terror targets in the Gaza Strip, including armed terrorist cells, terrorist infrastructure, and buildings rigged with explosives.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded in Dishon, northern Israel a short while ago, it was determined to be a false identification.

IDF: The IDF and Israel Police forces are currently stopping the break-in to the Sde Teiman base by Israeli civilians.

The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi:

“The break-in at the Sde Teiman Base is extremely serious and against the law. Breaking into a military base and disturbing the order there is severe behavior that is not acceptable in any way. We are in the midst of a war, and actions of this type endanger the security of the state. I strongly condemn the incident, and we are working to restore order at the base.

I fully support the Military Advocate General’s Corps and the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division in investigating every incident brought to their attention. This is their duty, regardless of rank or position. It is precisely these investigations that protect our soldiers in Israel and the world and preserve IDF values. These investigations are conducted while respecting the dignity of our soldiers, whom we command.”

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded in Kfar Giladi, northern Israel a short while ago, it was determined to be a false identification.

IDF: Earlier today (Monday), a UAV that made its way from Lebanese territory was intercepted by the Israeli Navy’s Sa’ar 6-class corvette in cooperation with the IAF in the area of Israel’s economic waters.

IDF: This morning, approximately 20 projectiles that were identified crossing from Lebanon fell in an open area adjacent to the Goma Junction in northern Israel. No injuries were reported, and in accordance with protocol, no sirens were sounded.

Within several minutes of the launches, the IAF struck and destroyed the launcher used to fire the projectiles toward northern Israel in the area of Houla in southern Lebanon.

Furthermore, a short while ago the IAF struck Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in the area of Kfarhamam from which projectiles were fired toward Har Dov. Additional terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon was struck over the past day.

In addition, a Hezbollah terrorist cell that was identified operating in the area of Meiss El Jabal was eliminated by the IAF.
