DF: The IDF eliminated a Hamas smuggling commander; Over the past day, IDF troops eliminated approximately 45 terrorists throughout the Gaza Strip
Yesterday (Monday), the IAF conducted an intelligence-based strike, eliminating the terrorist Mohammed Mahasneh, a Hamas commander responsible for smuggling operations, including the smuggling in and out of the Gaza Strip of military equipment used for terrorist activities. Mahasneh was primarily involved in smuggling operations at sea, but also operated to smuggle equipment through tunnels and border crossings. His elimination significantly degrades the capabilities of the Hamas terrorist organization to smuggle equipment into the Gaza Strip.
IDF troops continue operational activity in the central Gaza Strip. Over the past day, the troops eliminated approximately 20 terrorists in close-quarters combat and in aerial strikes.
IDF troops continue precise, intelligence-based operations in the Rafah area. Over the past day, the troops eliminated more than 25 terrorists. As part of IDF operational activity, the troops eliminated approximately ten terrorists who posed a threat to them, and the IAF struck multiple terror targets in the area. Additionally, an anti-tank missile was shot toward the troops. The IAF swiftly struck the structure from which the terrorist operated and eliminated him. No injuries were reported.

A short while ago, the IAF struck a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon. The structure was used by several terrorists who operated to advance terror attacks against the State of Israel.
Additionally, the IAF struck a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Khiam.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded over the past hour in northern Israel, a number of hostile UAVs were identified crossing from Lebanon. One of the UAVs was intercepted. Several civilians were injured to the south of Nahariya during the incident.
Rocket and missile sirens were sounded following the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception.
Following the siren that sounded at 12:56 in the area of Acre, it was determined to be a false identification.
IDF: Over the past few hours, dozens of protestors attempted to break into the Tel Hashomer base during protests that took place outside of the base. The protesters managed to infiltrate the Adjutant Corps Monument adjacent to the base fence. Israel Police forces cleared out the protestors.
Breaking into a military base is a serious offense and is against the law. The IDF condemns this violent behavior and insists that the protestors be brought to justice.
The enlistment of ultra-orthodox individuals is an operational necessity and is being conducted in accordance with the law, and the IDF is determined to continue advancing it.
IDF: Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the area of Hila, the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted an aerial target that crossed from Lebanese territory.
The siren was activated as a result of the launch of the interceptor toward the target and due to the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception.
Following the sirens that sounded in the areas of Sha’al and Kela Alon, the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanese territory. No injuries were reported.
Israel Fire Services are currently operating to extinguish fires that were ignited in several areas by fallen shrapnel from the interception.
Following the sirens that sounded in the western Galilee area, numerous projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon and falling in open areas. No injuries were reported.
IDF: Today (Tuesday), the Head of the Intelligence Directorate (J2), MG Aharon Haliva, visited two Intelligence Directorate bases. During the visit he received a briefing on the intelligence efforts in the various arenas, emphasizing Iran and the northern arena, and insisted on the Intelligence Directorate’s readiness for all scenarios.
MG Haliva spoke with the commanders and soldiers and emphasized that the Intelligence Directorate (J2) has a significant role across all fronts, and that they must continue making every effort to provide high-quality intelligence. He further added that the personnel of the directorate must continue to prepare for the threats from the various arenas and thwart them, as demonstrated in recent weeks, while enhancing readiness for all scenarios.

IDF: Since yesterday (Monday) afternoon, the IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police have been operating in a counterterrorism operation in Jenin and the surrounding areas.
During the counterterrorism operation, with the direction of the ISA, an IDF aircraft struck and eliminated four terrorists in the area of Jenin.
Additionally, IDF and Israel Border Police forces eliminated seven terrorists and wounded others, including armed terrorists, terrorists who hurled explosive devices toward the security forces and terrorists who attempted to plant explosives in the area.
Furthermore, the security forces dismantled a large number of explosive devices that were planted under the roads in an attempt to harm them, apprehended numerous wanted suspects, and located and confiscated an M-16 rifle.
During the counterterrorism operation, an IDF soldier was moderately injured and was evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. His family has been notified.
The apprehended wanted suspects and confiscated weaponry were transferred to the security forces for further processing.

IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), an officer from the IDF Medical Corps and a paramedic in the reserves from the Givati Reconnaissance unit were severely injured during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Medical Corps officer and the paramedic were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. Their families have been notified.
IDF: This morning (Tuesday), terrorists fired anti-tank missiles at IDF troops who were operating in the area of eastern Rafah, adjacent to the Humanitarian Route. IDF troops are operating to locate and eliminate the terrorists in the area.
As a result of the attack, multiple IDF soldiers were injured to different extents. The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. Their families have been notified.
Consequentially, movement along the Humanitarian Route has been temporarily halted as the area now constitutes an active combat zone.
The Kerem Shalom Crossing and the other entry routes for humanitarian aid are operating as usual.
The terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip continue to use any opportunity to carry out attacks against IDF soldiers at the expense of Gazan civilians, including by abusing humanitarian routes and aid designated for the civilian population.
IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), the IDF identified a terrorist cell entering a Hezbollah weapons storage facility and military structure in the area of Kfarkela. The IAF swiftly struck the military structure and weapons storage facility from which the terrorists were operating.
Additionally, earlier today, the IDF identified numerous Hezbollah terrorists exiting the area from which the launches were fired toward Misgav Am this morning. The IAF swiftly struck the terrorists.
In an additional strike, the IAF struck Hezbollah military structures in the area of Ayta ash Shab and a Hezbollah launcher in the area of Abou Chach.
Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the Galilee panhandle, approximately 10 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon, most of which were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas. No injuries were reported.

Bilha Yinon was the last person designated as missing since October 7th. Since the start of the war, the IDF and specifically the Manpower Directorate, have conducted an extensive investigative effort via different teams in various fields to determine Yinon’s fate. As part of this effort, evidence was discovered in the area of Yinon’s house that, after complex testing, enabled the verification of her identity.
A Ministry of Health committee of experts, consisting of representatives from the IDF investigative team, the National Institute of Forensic Medicine, the Israel Police and in cooperation with the Chief Rabbi of Israel Yitzhak Yosef, determined based on a combination of findings that Bilha Yinon was murdered on October 7th.
The IDF sends its heartfelt condolences to Yinon’s family and to the entire community of Netiv HaAsara.

IDF: The military prosecution asked to extend the detention of the five soldiers suspected of serious abuse until Sunday in order to carry out further investigative activities.
The military court accepted the request of the military prosecution in its entirety and stated in its decision that the evidence shows a reasonable suspicion of the commission of the acts.
The court also stated that since the previous hearing, evidence has been added that strengthens the suspicion against the five soldiers.
