IDF: Hamas fired rockets from launchers embedded near two schools and a field hospital in southern Gaza; The IDF continues operational activity against terorrist operatives and infrastructure across the Gaza Strip
Yesterday (Sunday), Hamas fired projectiles toward southern Israel from rocket launchers embedded near two schools, a field hospital and a cemetery in the southern Gaza Strip. This is a further example of the systematic abuse of civilian and humanitarian infrastructure by the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza.
Furthermore, a Hamas terrorist who launched projectiles from the southern Gaza Strip toward Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha yesterday was struck and eliminated by the IDF.
During operational activity over the past day in the Tel al-Sultan area in Rafah, IDF troops eliminated dozens of terrorists in the area, located large quantities of weapons, and dismantled terrorist infrastructure both above and below ground. Yesterday (Sunday), a terrorist fired anti-tank missiles at IDF troops, and in cooperation with ground troops, the IAF swiftly eliminated the terrorist.
IDF troops continue operational activity in the area of central Gaza. The IAF struck and eliminated two Hamas terrorists in a hideout in the area, as well as a Hamas command and control center and the residence of a Hamas operative.
Over the past day, the IAF struck over 45 terrorist targets, including military structures and terrorist infrastructure, across the Gaza Strip.

IDF: Earlier today (Monday), the IAF struck Hezbollah terrorists in the area of Houla in southern Lebanon. Additionally, a launcher was struck in the area of Ayta ash Shab.
The IAF also struck Hezbollah military structures in the areas of Ayta ash Shab and Hanine.

In addition, in the incident where Chief Warrant Officer Mahmood Amaria was killed, another officer in the 300th Brigade was severely injured.
The officer was evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment, his family has been notified.
Destruction of an Approximately 1.5 Kilometer Tunnel Used for Weapon Storage
Troops of the 7th Brigade expanded the operation in the Gaza Strip to the Khan Yunis area and the outskirts of Deir al-Balah. The troops are eliminating terrorists, destroying combat compounds above and below ground. In one such compound, troops of the 603rd Battalion located dozens of rockets, launchers, and several anti-tank missiles.
With intelligence guidance, troops of the 603rd Battalion and the Yahalom Unit located and destroyed an underground tunnel route approximately a kilometer and a half long. Along the tunnel route, an active compound of Hamas terrorists was located where weapons, explosives, and equipment for long-term stay were found – used by the terrorists who left the compound as the troops arrived.

IDF: Today (Monday), the General Staff Forum held a day of readiness for the northern front led by the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, and with the participation of the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, the Head of the Intelligence Directorate (J2), the Head of the Operations Directorate (J3), the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command, the Commanding Officer of the Israeli Air Force and additional commanders.
