IDF Updates – September 9th

IDF: Overnight, the IAF struck Hezbollah military structures and a launcher in the areas of Kfarkela, Taybeh, Hanine and Yarine, in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, yesterday (Sunday), the IAF struck a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Khirbet Selm in southern Lebanon.


IDF: Following the sirens that sounded in the area of the Western Galilee regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration, two suspicious aerial targets were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
An aerial target fell in the area of Nahariya. No injuries were reported.


IDF: A short while ago, the Chief of General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, concluded a situational assessment of the northern arena with members of the General Staff Forum, addressing this morning’s incident where a UAV hit a building in the city of Nahariya in northern Israel.

The Chief of General Staff said: “Hezbollah’s strike on a residential building this morning in Nahariya is a serious incident, as is the fire directed at the citizens of the north. The IDF is operating forcefully in the north and is in a high state of readiness with operational plans ready, prepared for any mission required.”

IDF: Over the past day, three fallen aerial targets were identified in an area adjacent to Shlomi, and as a result, two IDF soldiers were lightly injured.
The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment, their families have been notified.

Over the past hours, the IAF struck several Hezbollah military structures and an observation post used by the terrorist organization in Kfarkela in southern Lebanon.

A short while ago, IDF soldiers identified a Hezbollah observation post in the area of Kfarchouba in southern Lebanon, and an IDF tank swiftly struck the observation post.

Additionally, the IAF struck a terrorist in the area of Tallouseh.
