IDF: Overnight, the IAF struck Hezbollah military structures in the areas of Ayta ash Shab, Khiam and Naqoura in southern Lebanon.
In addition, IDF fired mortars in the area of Naqoura in southern Lebanon.
The IDF will continue to operate against the threat of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in order to defend the State of Israel.
IDF: Overnight, following IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on a number of senior Hamas terrorists who were operating within a command and control center embedded inside the Humanitarian Area in Khan Yunis. Among the terrorists struck was Samer Ismail Khadr Abu Daqqa, Head of Hamas’ Aerial Unit in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, the terrorist Osama Tabesh, Head of the Observation and Targets Department in Hamas’ Military Intelligence Headquarters, and Ayman Mabhouh, another senior Hamas terrorist, were struck during the operation.
These terrorists were directly involved in the execution of the October 7th Massacre and have been recently operating to carry out terror activities against the IDF and the State of Israel.
Prior to the strike, extensive intelligence gathering was conducted, as well as continuous aerial surveillance in the hours leading up to the strike, which confirmed the presence of the terrorists in the area alongside additional terrorist operatives.
According to an initial review, the numbers published by the Hamas-run Government Information Office in Gaza, which has consistently broadcast lies and false information throughout the war, do not align with the information held by the IDF, the precise munitions used, and the accuracy of the strike.
Despite the extensive measures taken by the IDF to enable the Gazan population to move away from combat zones, including by designating a Humanitarian Area, the Hamas terrorist organization continues to embed its operatives and military infrastructure in the Humanitarian Area and systematically use Gazan civilians as a human shield for its terrorist activities.

IDF: Earlier this morning (Tuesday), during operational activity to investigate and dismantle underground infrastructure in the central Gaza Strip, a tunnel shaft collapsed, trapping an IDF officer.
The officer was rescued and was evacuated to a hospital to receive further medical treatment. His family has been notified.

The Chain of Command of the Hamas Terrorist Organization’s ‘Tel Al-Sultan’ Battalion Was Eliminated
In a joint IDF and ISA operation, soldiers from the 401st Brigade identified several terrorist cells operating drones in the Rafah area. The forces directed an IAF aircraft, which eliminated the terrorists. In the strike, the commander of Hamas’ Tel al-Sultan Battalion, Mahmoud Hamdan, and three additional company commanders from the battalion were eliminated.
In these strikes, the chain of command of the Tel al-Sultan Battalion was eliminated, as well as dozens of additional terrorists from the battalion.
Mahmoud Hamdan, the commander of the Tel al-Sultan Battalion, played a significant role in planning the invasion into Israel on October 7th and advanced the Rafah Brigade’s plans prior to the entry of IDF troops into the area. Additionally, he initiated, led, and planned dozens of terrorist operations against IDF troops and the State of Israel.
