Following the directive of the Israeli government, and as part of the commitment to providing humanitarian aid to northern Gaza, hundreds of food packages and thousands of liters of water were delivered to distribution centers for the civilian population remaining in the Beit Hanoun area during a coordinated operation yesterday (Monday). This operation was led by the Coordination and Liaison Administration to Gaza of COGAT, in cooperation with international aid organizations. This tactical operation was in addition to last week’s coordination effort to send in 11 trucks of food, water, and medical supplies to the Jabaliya camp.

Alongside this operation, ongoing humanitarian efforts continue in northern Gaza. Since October, 741 aid trucks have been delivered to northern Gaza via the ‘Erez West’ Crossing. Furthermore, in coordination with the Gaza CLA and the World Health Organization (WHO), 244 patients and their companions have been evacuated from hospitals in northern Gaza over the past month, while 50,000 liters of fuel, 180 blood units, and hundreds of boxes of medical supplies and food have been delivered to support critical hospital infrastructure in northern Gaza.

The IDF, through COGAT, will continue to operate in accordance with international law to facilitate and ease the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

IDF: IDF soldiers continue targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon, operating against Hezbollah terrorist targets, and alongside IAF and IDF artillery strikes. The troops dismantled terrorist infrastructure, eliminated terrorists, located ready-to-fire launchers, and confiscated large amounts of weaponry and terrorist equipment, some of which were found within civilian structures.

Yesterday (Monday), the Hezbollah terrorist organization fired approximately 200 projectiles into Israeli territory.

Over the past day, the IAF struck approximately 100 terror targets in Lebanon, including terrorist infrastructure sites, weapons storage facilities, dozens of terrorists, and the launchers that launched projectiles toward the Upper Galilee, Western Galilee, and the Haifa Bay areas.
Additionally, yesterday (Monday), the IAF struck a terrorist site in the Beqaa area that contained underground infrastructure intended for the launch of projectiles toward the State of Israel.

IDF: Activity of the Kfir Brigade in the Area of Beit Lahia

The 162nd Division are continuing their divisional operation in the area of Jabaliya. Over the past week, troops of the Kfir Brigade have been conducting raids to neutralize the threat in the area of Beit Lahia.

During the operation, the troops located and dismantled several rocket launcher sites aimed at firing toward the communities near the Gaza Strip. The troops also located Hamas uniforms, military equipment, AK-47 rifles, and weapon components.

In close-quarters combat, terrorists who had barricaded themselves in a building from which they conducted gunfire and terror activities against the troops in the area were eliminated. After eliminating the terrorists, the building, which served as t…

IDF: Today (Tuesday), the IAF conducted intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah terrorist targets in the Dahieh area of Beirut. The targets include command centers, weapons production sites, and additional Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure.

The Hezbollah terrorist organization systematically embeds its terrorist infrastructure into the heart of civilian areas. This is a further example of Hezbollah’s cynical exploitation of Lebanese civilians as human shields.

Prior to the strikes, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including using surveillance and precise intelligence information and issuing advance warnings to the civilian population in the area.

IDF: A short while ago, sirens were sounded in the Haifa Bay and HaAmakim areas following the identification of a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
The target is being monitored by the IAF and the incident is still ongoing.

IDF: The IDF Dismantled a Majority of Hezbollah’s Weapons Storage and Missile Manufacturing Facilities Located Under the Dahieh District

Over the past 20 years, the Hezbollah terrorist organization has established dozens of weapons production sites and storage facilities in the heart of the Dahieh district, the organization’s governing stronghold. These sites, systematically concealed beneath civilian buildings, have produced and stored hundreds of missiles and rockets intended to inflict significant harm on the State of Israel.

New details can now be revealed about the sites and storage facilities targeted by the IDF. As part of Operation “Northern Arrows,” an extensive effort is underway to dismantle the terror infrastructure that Hezbollah has established in Dahieh. Over the years, the Intelligence Directorate has developed a situational assessment of the locations of Hezbollah terror infrastructure in the area, and in recent weeks, IAF aircraft have carried out a series of strikes to dismantle them. During these strikes, multiple secondary explosions were identified, confirming the presence of weapons within the targeted infrastructure.

One of the primary sites targeted was revealed by Israel at the United Nations General Assembly in 2020, along with several other sites. This site was established in the heart of the Choueifat neighborhood, beneath a complex of five residential buildings housing about 50 families, and is located approximately 85 meters from a school.

This site was intended to produce various weapon components, including long-range precision missiles capable of striking anywhere in Israel. These missiles are a central element of Hezbollah’s precision missile project, funded by Iran.

The IDF conducts targeted strikes and makes extensive efforts to avoid harming civilians. As part of this, advance warnings and calls for civilian evacuations are issued prior to the strikes, and precise munitions are used.

This method of Hezbollah directly endangers the residents of Beirut, as large quantities of explosives are hidden beneath civilians, often without their knowledge. This phenomenon was starkly demonstrated in the massive explosion at the Port of Beirut on August 4th, 2020, which occurred due to the storage of 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate, a component used in Hezbollah’s weapon production process. The ammonium was deliberately stored at the port, leading to a devastating explosion that resulted in the deaths of approximately 190 civilians and injuries to thousands more.

Joint statement by the IDF Spokesperson and the Israel Ministry of Defense Spokesperson:

Amid the Ongoing War, the IDF Reveals Its Sixth Submarine—INS “Drakon”, Which Will Serve as a Strategic Combat Asset Across the Various Operational Arenas

Today (Tuesday), the naming ceremony for the IDF’s sixth submarine was held at the “Kiel” shipyard in Germany, led by the Commander in Chief of the Israeli Navy, VADM David Saar Salama, the Israel Ministry of Defense Deputy Director General and Head of the Defence Procurement Directorate (DPD), Zeev Landau, and the Ambassador of Israel to Germany, Mr. Ron Prosor, alongside representatives from the Israel Ministry of Defense and the Israel Navy, who are accompanying the project with representatives from the shipyard in Germany.

Alongside the naming ceremony for the submarine, the commencement of the construction process for the IDF’s future submarines, of the “Dakar” class, was marked. These submarines are scheduled for delivery at the beginning of the next decade.

As part of the ceremony, the submarine was officially named INS (Israeli Navy Ship) “Drakon”. The name “Drakon” (Dragon)—a mythical sea creature symbolizing strength, uniqueness, and power—was chosen because it contains the Hebrew letters ד׳, ק׳, ר׳ (Dakar), thus commemorating the legacy of the submarine INS Dakar and its crew.

The submarine is scheduled to be delivered to the IDF in 2025, after which it will sail to its home port and join its sister vessels as an operational submarine in the Israeli Navy.

The INS “Drakon” submarine is of the “Dolphin AIP” class and equipped with unique systems, including groundbreaking technologies that expand the range of the IDF’s capabilities across various arenas.

From the remarks of the Commander in Chief of the Israeli Navy, VADM David Saar Salama: “INS Drakon will serve as a cornerstone in ensuring the security of the State of Israel. Seen and unseen, it will dwell in distant and hidden realms for extended periods. This submarine is an additional force multiplier for the capabilities and strength of the Israeli Navy, the IDF, and the State of Israel—facing complex challenges at the most strategic and crucial level for Israel.
At this time, significant transformations are taking place in the submarine flotilla. Operational methods are improving, the range of operational capabilities is being enhanced and expanded, and integration with security bodies is accelerating. All of these place the submarine flotilla at the forefront of the campaign for Israel’s security, as the extended arm of the IDF.
With the addition of INS Drakon to the depths of our operations, our extended arm grows significantly in length and strength.”

From the remarks of the Israel Ministry of Defense Deputy Director General and Head of the Defence Procurement Directorate (DPD), Zeev Landau: “Today we are marking not only the launch of the Drakon submarine but also the close security ties between Israel and Germany, a relationship founded on shared values and a mutual aspiration for a safer future. Together, we have created a vessel that will strengthen the Israeli Navy and bring powerful and essential capabilities for the defense of the State of Israel. On behalf of the Israel Ministry of Defense, I congratulate the Israeli Navy, which today marks a new chapter in force design, and extend my gratitude to our partners in the German Ministry of Defense and TKMS. We are successfully completing a major phase in the development and production project and are moving forward to the next stages.”

From the remarks of the Ambassador of Israel to Germany, Ron Prosor: “The launch of the submarine is a model of the synergy between security and diplomacy. The geo-strategic situation requires moral clarity—as well as a long-term strategy. The launch of the submarine is another cornerstone in the strategic relationship between Israel and Germany, which face similar challenges and share common opportunities.”
