IDF: Earlier today (Wednesday), with the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF struck smuggling routes between Syria and Lebanon. These routes coming from the Syrian side of the border into Lebanon are used to smuggle weapons to the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

In recent months, the IDF has been carrying out strikes to reduce the transfer of weapons from Iran, through Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
These strikes on the smuggling routes of the Syrian Regime are part of a larger effort targeting the capabilities of Unit 4400, the Hezbollah unit responsible for smuggling weapons. These weapons are later used to carry out terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.

With the support of the Syrian regime, the Hezbollah terrorist organization continues to systematically abuse civilian infrastructure for its terrorist activities. The IDF will continue to operate in order to prevent Hezbollah’s buildup of weaponry that endangers the civilians of Israel.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded at 06:58 in the Upper Galilee area, approximately ten projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Some of the projectiles were intercepted, and the rest fell in open areas. At this moment, no injuries were reported.

IDF: IDF operational activity continues in the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon

IDF troops continue their limited, localized, and targeted operational activity in southern Lebanon.
A weapons storage facility and additional terrorist infrastructure sites in the area were struck by IDF artillery and aerial strikes.

Over the past day, the troops located and dismantled rocket launchers, anti-tank missile launchers, terrorist infrastructure, and several explosives stockpiles in southern Lebanon. In addition, the IAF struck command centers and weapons storage facilities and eliminated terrorists.

During the troop’s activity in the area over the past day, they located underground infrastructure sites, mortars, and numerous launchers aimed toward Israeli civilians.

Simultaneously, IDF troops continue their operational activity against terrorists and terrorist infrastructure in the Beit Lahia and Jabaliya areas. Over the past day, the troops located a large amount of weapons and eliminated dozens of terrorists from the air and ground. Moreover, a terrorist cell that launched anti-tank missiles and fired at the troops was eliminated.

Furthermore, the IAF struck a weapons storage facility and eliminated a terrorist while he was transferring weapons into the facility.

Over the past day, the IAF struck over 100 terror targets in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, including weapons storage facilities, launchers aimed toward Israeli territory, command centers, and additional terrorist infrastructure sites.

IDF: Over the past week, the IAF struck and dismantled over 140 Hezbollah launchers in southern Lebanon. These launchers posed an immediate threat to Israeli civilians and IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon.
Among the launchers struck was the launcher from which projectiles were fired toward the Western Galilee area last night (Wednesday), as well as the launchers from which projectiles were fired toward central Israel yesterday (Wednesday) and on Tuesday.

Additionally, the IAF struck and eliminated a battalion operations commander and a battalion anti-tank missiles commander in Hezbollah’s Radwan Forces in the coastal region on Tuesday. Additionally, a company commander in the Radwan Forces was also eliminated.
Over the past week, the IDF eliminated over 200 Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon from the air and ground.

These strikes further degrade Hezbollah’s capability to carry out terror attacks from southern Lebanon against Israeli civilians on the northern border. The IDF will continue to operate to thwart any danger or threat against the State of Israel.

IDF: Activity of the Commando Brigade in Southern Lebanon

Troops of the Commando Brigade including soldiers of the Egoz, Maglan and Duvdevan Units, are conducting limited, localized, targeted ground raids based on precise intelligence on several new enemy targets in southern Lebanon.

The troops are operating in thicketed, mountainous terrain in ‘combat compounds’ pre-designated by Hezbollah for its attacks. Some of the compounds are embedded within villages from which the Hezbollah terrorist organization has directed numerous rocket barrages toward Israeli communities. Additionally, the troops are neutralizing terrorists from both the ground and the air.

In one of the scans, the soldiers located Hezbollah infrastructure with a 32-barrel rocket launcher aimed toward Israel. Numerous additional weapons and combat equipment were uncovered. All of the items were confiscated and destroyed.

IDF: Earlier today, the IDF struck terrorist infrastructure sites and command centers belonging to the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in Syria.

The strike inflicted significant damage to the terrorist organization’s command center and to its operatives.

Alongside Hamas, the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, directed by its leaders outside the Gaza Strip, participated in the murderous attack on October 7th.

The Islamic Jihad terrorist organization has been assisting Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, with the purpose of attacking Israel. The terrorist organization is an additional Iranian proxy acting under the direct instruction of Iran. Moreover, the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization operates in Syria under the cover of the Syrian Regime.

The IDF will continue to operate against the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization wherever necessary.
