IDF: Troops of the Southern Brigade of the Gaza Division Dismantled Two Terror Tunnels in the Southern and Central Gaza Strip
In recent weeks, soldiers of the Southern Brigade completed a targeted operation to dismantle terror infrastructure and underground infrastructure in the southern and central Gaza Strip.
During the operation, the Gaza Division’s engineering unit, in coordination with the Yahalom unit, located and dismantled two terror tunnel routes, each spanning 2 kilometers. These routes were complex, containing multiple exit shafts, some of which were booby-trapped, and numerous weapons.
Additionally, as part of the operation, intelligence-backed, targeted strikes, led by the brigade’s Fire Control Center were carried out. These strikes eliminated a terrorist cell attempting to plant an explosive device and destroyed anti-tank positions and terrorist infrastructure that posed a threat to the soldiers.

IDF: A short while ago, the IAF conducted an intelligence-based strike on a Hamas terrorist who was operating in the area of Al-Furqan in Gaza City.
Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.
The IDF will continue to operate against Hamas in defense of the citizens of Israel.
IDF: Following the sirens that sounded between 17:26 and 17:27 in the area of Western Lachish and in the communities near the Gaza Strip, a UAV launched from Yemen and crossed into Israeli territory was identified and fell in an open area.
IDF: Below are the Chief of the General Staff’s full remarks from the 189th IAF Pilots Course Graduation Ceremony:
“Why must a person give up their roots if their heart desires wings? When I grow up, I would like to be a person with roots and wings.”
This quote, though it does not intend to, best describes the pilots of the Israeli Air Force—who are deeply rooted in Israel’s soil but have wings so they are able to soar upwards and protect it.
Commanding Officer of the Israeli Air Force, Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar, commanders, dear families and graduates of the 189th IAF Pilots Course,
This evening, in the midst of a just war, you—the graduates of the IAF Pilots Course—are receiving your pilots’ wings pins. These wings connect vision to action, as well as courage and vocation to the mission of defending our home.
For over a year, we have been fighting restlessly, with strength and determination; we have dealt Hamas a severe blow, destroyed terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria, and conducted powerful, targeted strikes against Hezbollah. We are deployed in the Area of Separation in Syria to prevent terrorist organizations from establishing themselves in the area and attempting to act against us. We are operating in other distant arenas and determined to face every threat that might present itself.
We are continuously operating to restore security to the citizens of the State of Israel. We know the residents need a sense of safety, and it is our responsibility to provide it. We have the urgent, moral duty to return the hostages to their families. The IDF is doing, and will do, whatever is necessary, whatever it takes, to ensure their return home.
Over the past year, we have become even more aware of the importance of the Israeli Air Force and its central and decisive role in combat. IAF personnel have maintained a constant presence near the ground forces, providing close and significant support.
The IAF contributed greatly to the IDF’s achievements in this war; for the first time, we thwarted direct attacks launched at us from Iran and retaliated. We eliminated senior figures in terrorist organizations, carried out rescue operations under fire, and destroyed many of the enemy’s capabilities – with an emphasis on surface-to-air missile systems surrounding us.
Many more tasks lie ahead. Let Iran, its proxies and the entire Middle East know, that anyone who attempts to undermine the stability and security of the State of Israel, the IDF will stand firm against them, ready to strike at any time and in any place.
In the face of complex threats, we know we have personnel we can rely on – from high-quality planning, precise intelligence, to advanced aircraft and the people sitting in the cockpit, operating and making critical decisions.
In the days before the elimination of Yahya Sinwar, the forces in Rafah were searching for signs of the hostages to rescue them, and searching for signs of the enemy to eliminate them. Life and death hanging in the balance, with brave soldiers operating to the best of their abilities.
IDF: Over 85,000 Weapons, Missiles and Military Items Belonging to Hezbollah Were Confiscated by the IDF in Southern Lebanon
At the beginning of October 2024, the IDF began limited, localized, targeted ground raids to dismantle Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
As part of the operations led by the IDF Northern Command, the forces operated against Hezbollah in more than 30 areas across southern Lebanon. The troops identified and destroyed terrorist infrastructure, eliminated terrorists, and located and confiscated numerous weapons.
The IDF confiscated over 85,000 weapons, missiles, and military items, including rocket launchers, anti-tank missiles, RPGs, rifles, explosives, munitions, anti-aircraft missiles, observation devices, and military vehicles. A large exhibition of the weapons confiscated is currently on display.
The confiscated weapons were used by Hezbollah to attack Israeli civilians and were intended to be deployed as part of Hezbollah’s ‘Conquer the Galilee’ invasion plan. Hezbollah’s military capabilities have been significantly degraded as a result of the IDF’s ground raids.

IDF: Initial report – A report was received regarding a ramming attack at the Gush Etzion Junction. Details to follow.
IDF: A short while ago, with the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF and IDF artillery conducted a precise strike on Hamas terrorists in the area of Gaza City.
The terrorists exploited the area to plan and execute an explosive drone attack against IDF troops in an imminent time frame.
Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.
This is a further example of the Hamas terrorist organization’s systematic abuse of civilian infrastructure and the Gaza population in violation of international law. The IDF will continue to operate against Hamas in defense of the citizens of Israel.
