IDF Updates – March 11th

IDF: Earlier today (Monday), several terrorists were identified operating near IDF troops in the area of Shejaiya and attempting to plant explosive devices in the ground.
The troops opened fire toward them, and hits were identified.

Additionally, three terrorists were identified operating near IDF troops in the area of Nuseirat and attempting to plant explosive devices in the ground. The IAF struck the terrorists, and hits were identified.


IDF: Overnight, IAF fighter jets struck radars and detection assets used for constructing aerial intelligence assessments in southern Syria. In addition, command positions and military sites containing weapons and military equipment belonging to the Syrian Regime in southern Syria were struck.

The presence of these assets in southern Syria posed a threat to the State of Israel and IDF activities. These targets were struck in order to eliminate future threats.


Joint IDF, Israel Police, and ISA Announcement:

As part of the counterterrorism operation in northern Samaria, IDF and Israeli security forces operated in the areas of Qabatiya and Jenin.

Israel Police “Yamam” forces encountered several armed terrorists who had barricaded themselves inside a structure in Jenin. During the exchange of fire, they eliminated two of the terrorists, and struck an additional operative.
Ten additional terrorists were apprehended by the forces, including Liwaa Jaaz, a senior operative in the terror network in the area of Jenin.
A terrorist who opened fire toward IDF soldiers operating in Jenin was eliminated by the troops.

The security forces also located and destroyed two vehicles loaded with weapons
intended for use in terror attacks.

The apprehended terrorists and the confiscated weapons were transferred to security forces for further processing. No IDF injuries were reported.


IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), several terrorists engaged in suspicious activity posing a threat to IDF troops were identified in central Gaza. An IAF aircraft struck the terrorists.


IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), a terrorist was identified conducting surveillance activities and gathering intelligence on IDF soldiers in southern Gaza. The IAF conducted a strike on the terrorist to remove the threat.


IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), the IAF conducted a precise intelligence-based strike in the area of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, eliminating Hassan Abbas Ez-Eldin, the Head of Hezbollah’s Aerial Array in the “Bader” Regional Unit.

Hassan Abbas, was as a significant source of knowledge in Hezbollah’s Aerial Array and lead the rebuilding efforts of the unit, which was significantly damaged by IAF strikes during the war, including by advancing attempts made by the unit to rearm itself with new weapons that pose a direct threat to Israeli aircraft.


IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), several terrorists were identified in a site used by Hezbollah in the area of Froun in southern Lebanon. An IAF aircraft struck the suspects.


IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), a terrorist hurled rocks at an Israeli vehicle near the community of Evyatar, lightly injuring an Israeli civilian, who was in her car with her husband and two children. The Israeli civilian received medical treatment at the scene.

Upon receiving the report, security forces began scanning the area for the terrorist.
