: Following the sirens that sounded at 12:03 in the communities near the Gaza Strip, two projectiles were identified crossing into Israeli territory from the central Gaza Strip. One projectile was successfully intercepted by the IAF and a fallen projectile was identified in the area of Zimrat. The details are under review.
Commanding Officer of the Intelligence Directorate Major General Shlomi Binder, appointed an external examination team led by Brigadier General R’, the Commander of the Combat Methods and Innovation Brigade to review the incident.
Additionally, the Commanding Officer of the Ground Forces, Major General Nadav Lotan, has ordered the suspension of Krav Maga training until Sunday and until the completion of the inquiry on the incident.
The IDF expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family and will continue to support them.
IDF: Earlier today, a terrorist responsible for launching projectiles toward communities near the Gaza Strip was identified and struck by the IDF. Shortly afterward, the IDF struck the structure from which the projectiles were launched, as well as two additional launch sites.
