Joint IDF, ISA and Israel Police Announcement:

Earlier today (Tuesday), a report was received regarding Israeli civilians setting fire to a Palestinian event hall overnight in the area of Biddya.
Upon receiving the report, Israeli security forces were dispatched to the scene and initiated a preliminary review of the incident. No injuries were reported.
A joint inquiry has been opened by the Israel Police and ISA.

The IDF condemns incidents such as this and will continue to act with determination to maintain security and public order in the region.

IDF: The Chief of the General Staff to IDF Soldiers in Gaza:

“You have returned to operate in the Gaza Strip, in areas where IDF troops are operating for the first time — I expect you to defeat Hamas’ Rafah Brigade and to achieve victory wherever you operate.”

IDF: A short while ago, the IAF struck a weapons storage facility belonging to Hezbollah’s Aerial Defense Unit in the area of Beqaa in Lebanon.

The presence of weapons in the area poses a threat to the State of Israel and constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
