IDF: IDF Troops Dismantled Dozens of Terror Infrastructure Sites Throughout the Gaza Strip
IDF troops, directed by IDF and ISA intelligence, continue operational activity against terrorist organizations throughout the Gaza Strip. The troops dismantled weapons storage facilities and underground terrorist infrastructure. The troops also targeted sniper and observation posts, anti-tank missile posts, and additional military compounds.
Yesterday (Wednesday), during operational activity, IDF troops identified several terrorists nearby and, following identification directed an IAF aircraft that struck and eliminated the terrorists.
Over the past day, the IAF struck dozens dozens of terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip. Among the targets struck were terrorists, military structures, observation and sniper posts that posed a threat to IDF troops in the area, tunnels, and additional terrorist infrastructure sites.
IDF troops continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to defend Israeli civilians.
IDF: A short while ago, an IDF aircraft struck a Hezbollah terrorist in the area of the Beaufort Ridge in southern Lebanon.
The terrorist was rehabilitating a site used by the by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to manage its fire and defense array. The activity at the site constitutes a blatant violation of the understanding between Israel and Lebanon. The site was struck several times by the IDF over the past weeks.
The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel and will prevent any attempt by Hezbollah to reestablish its terror capabilities.
IDF: An employee of a contracting company that carries out engineering work for the IDF on behalf of the Ministry of Defense was killed earlier today (Thursday) in the northern Gaza Strip.
The IDF and the Ministry of Defense extend their condolences to the family.
