Overnight (Sunday), the IAF struck and dismantled armed and ready-to-use surface-to-surface launchers in Iran. Additionally the IAF struck launchers that fired missiles toward the State of Israel.
Furthermore, surface-to-air missile infrastructure and detection radar systems belonging to the Iranian regime were struck as part of the IDF’s aerial superiority over Iranian airspace.

IDF: Approximately 50 Fighter Jets Struck Infrastructure and Targets of the Iranian Nuclear Project in Tehran
Throughout the night, Israeli Air Force fighter jets flew over Tehran and struck infrastructure and targets of the Iranian nuclear project, under the guidance of the Intelligence Directorate.
The strike targeted more than 80 objectives, including the headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Defense, the headquarters of the nuclear project (SPND), and additional targets where the Iranian regime hid the nuclear archive.
As part of Operation “Rising Lion”, the IDF struck over 170 targets and more than 720 military infrastructure components in less than three days.
The IDF continues to intensify the blow to the Iranian nuclear threat, targeting its heart and depriving it of critical capabilities and components for weapon production.

Today (Sunday), the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, held a situational assessment in the IAF Underground Operations Center with the Commander of the Israeli Air Force, Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar, the Israeli Air Force Chief of Staff, Head of Aerial Operations, and additional senior commanders.
The Chief of the General Staff visited the defense and offense departments during the Israeli Air Force strikes in Tehran and expressed his deep appreciation for their actions.

IDF: A short while ago, the IAF struck an Iranian aerial refueling aircraft at Mashhad Airport in eastern Iran, approximately 2,300 kilometers from Israel. The IAF is operating to establish aerial superiority over Iranian airspace.

This is a historic and unprecedented operation aimed at delivering a significant blow to an existential threat that Iran has built over the years with the goal of annihilating us.
We continue to operate according to a structured, thorough, professional, and evolving plan. Over the past 24 hours, we completed an aerial route to Tehran and conducted an aerial breaching battle. IAF pilots are flying at great risk to their lives, hundreds of kilometers away from Israel, striking hundreds of different targets with precision. Alongside that, we are locating and destroying missile launchers that are firing toward our territory.
From the moment we launched the campaign, we acted with surprise and deception. In the opening strike, we eliminated the top military command. We will continue to intensify our operations and, in doing so, strengthen our security for years to come.
