IDF: Givati Brigade Eliminates Terrorist Cell in Jabaliya

The Givati Brigade, under the command of the 162nd Division, is operating in the Jabaliya area in the northern Gaza Strip, as part of Operation “Gideon’s Chariots”.

In recent weeks, forces eliminated numerous terrorists, dismantled military infrastructure above and below ground, and located and seized weapons, some of which were hidden in civilian buildings.

As part of the activities, forces identified a Hamas terrorist cell advancing toward them from the direction of Kfar Jabaliya. In coordination with Israeli Air Force aircraft and the brigade’s firepower coordination unit, the soldiers eliminated the terrorist cell.

The IDF continues to operate in the Gaza Strip to safeguard the security of the civilians of the State of Israel.

“We are on the sixth day of Operation “Rising Lion”. Last night, Israeli Air Force fighter jets, guided by precise intelligence, completed another series of strikes in Tehran. The extensive operation involved more than fifty fighter jets, lasted over three hours, and included three waves of strikes. During the operation, we struck a centrifuge production site that was intended to enable the regime to continue to enhance its uranium enrichment. This complements actions from previous operations we have conducted targeting components of the nuclear program.

So far, we have struck over 1,100 different components across Iran. We are systematically working to neutralize all elements of the nuclear threat. We are also deepening the significant damage to surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles. IAF jets also struck several weapons and missile production sites in Tehran.

This morning, an Israeli Air Force aircraft identified and struck five Iranian AH-1 attack helicopters. The helicopters were located at Kermanshah airport, and their mission was to attempt to target our aircraft. We have clear goals and objectives: removing the existential threat to the State of Israel, significantly impairing the nuclear program in all its components, and inflicting substantial damage to the missile array. We are operating according to a structured plan and will continue until we achieve all our objectives. We continue striking forcefully to eliminate the threats posed by Iran to the State of Israel and its civilians.

Last night, we identified around thirty launches fired from Iran towards Israeli territory in two barrages. Most of them were intercepted, and there were no casualties. I know these are complex days, but we cannot afford complacency. We all must act responsibly and strictly adhere to the Home Front Command’s guidelines. They truly save lives. We constantly review and update the guidelines, and your personal safety is our primary concern. We will always update you if there are any changes.

IDF soldiers continue operating across all battlefronts. In the Gaza Strip, we are operating with intensity through four divisions according to a structured plan. In the past 24 hours alone, the IAF, guided by the Southern Command and the Intelligence Directorate, struck over 75 targets.

Brigade combat teams are eliminating terrorists in fierce combat and are dismantling terrorist infrastructure and underground systems. Our missions are clear: the IDF operates across all arenas to defend the State of Israel and its civilians. I will continue to be here, providing updates on every development.”

IDF: IDF Chief of the General Staff in the Southern Command: “Important and direct lessons were learned from the events of October 7 — we are not waiting, we are preventing threats.”

The IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, held a situational assessment today (Wednesday) at the Southern Command with the Commanding Officer of Southern Command, MG Yaniv Asor, commanders of maneuvering divisions operating in Gaza, and additional senior officers.

The Chief of the General Staff was briefed on the current situation and preparations moving forward, and held discussions with the division commanders.

LTG Zamir emphasized the importance of continued combat operations in Gaza — aimed at returning the hostages and dismantling the Hamas terrorist organization — as part of Israel’s broader multi-front war effort.

Attached are the full remarks of the Chief of the General Staff:
“We are engaged in a very significant operation to remove an existential threat posed to the State of Israel. This is the most serious existential threat we face it is where we are now operating, and it is where we are focusing the IDF’s efforts. We are striking their nuclear program, and we are targeting aspects of the program. It is now clear to all of you that there is a direct line connecting Iran to the entire axis. Striking Iran means striking the axis — from Yemen to every front you are aware of. And in the end, it reaches close here; it reaches Hamas.

Iran is behind arming Hamas, sustaining Hamas, and financing Hamas. That’s why the operation we are conducting in Iran directly affects the situation here as well.

Important and direct lessons have been learned from the events of October 7 — we are not waiting. We are preventing threats. We are not waiting for those threats to materialize to the point where it is too late to address them. This is exactly what we are doing – confronting the nuclear program, confronting the missile program, and reducing the threat.

At the same time, we never forget our mission here — returning the hostages and defeating Hamas. We have not forgotten our hostages. This is a moral imperative. We must bring the hostages home.

I believe that the operation we are conducting there will ultimately influence our ability to achieve better conditions to secure the return of our hostages.

I greatly appreciate what you are doing. I know that you are operating professionally and under significant risk. Regrettably, we have paid a very heavy price in recent days. You must stay committed to the mission. I trust that you will carry it out in the best possible way.”

IDF: IDF Strikes Anti-Tank Missile Production Site in Iran Used to Arm Hezbollah

Overnight (Wednesday), Israeli Air Force fighter jets — guided by the IDF Intelligence Directorate — struck a site used for the production of anti-tank missiles. These missiles were manufactured in Iran and transferred by the Iranian regime to its proxies through foreign countries, for the purpose of terrorist activity against the State of Israel.

In recent years, hundreds of missiles produced by the Iranian regime have been transferred to the Hezbollah terrorist organization. Since the beginning of the war, Hezbollah has launched hundreds of anti-tank missiles toward Israel, injuring and killing numerous civilians and soldiers.

For years, the Iranian regime has armed the terrorist organizations surrounding the State of Israel, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Houthi terrorist regime. These organizations have suffered heavy damage as a result of IDF strikes during the war.

In addition, the IDF continues to strike missile production sites across Iran.
