Joint IDF and ISA Announcement:

The IDF and ISA Eliminated the Deputy Commander of Hamas’ Zeitun Battalion, Who Was Involved in the Hostage Release Parades

Last week (Wednesday), the IDF and ISA struck and eliminated in the area of Gaza City, the terrorist Musa Shaldan, the deputy commander of Hamas’ Zeitun Battalion.

Shaldan commanded as a company commander during the infiltration into Israel on October 7th, and was one of the leading figures behind the launching of incendiary balloons toward Israeli territory. Additionally, he was also responsible for the release of hostages in Gaza City, taking part in Hamas’ parade during their release and in the latest hostage release deal.

Throughout the war, while operating from within humanitarian shelters, he carried out numerous attacks, such as sniper fire, explosives, and anti-tank fire against IDF troops operating in the area, and he was responsible for Hamas’ combat compound plan in Zeitoun. In the past, he served as the battalion’s intelligence officer as well as deputy company commander.

The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip and to remove any threat posed to the State of Israel.

IDF: Earlier today (Monday), an officer from the IDF Medical Corps, an officer from the Armored Corps, and three Armored Corps soldiers from the 82nd Battalion of the 7th Brigade were severely injured during combat in the northern Gaza Strip.

The officers and soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment, and their families have been notified.


IDF: Yesterday (Monday), the IDF struck and eliminated Hezbollah terrorist Mohammad Abbas Shashoua, who was responsible for artillery in the Sohmor area in southern Lebanon.

Throughout the war, the terrorist advanced numerous rocket attacks toward Kiryat Shmona and the Golan Heights, and was recently involved in reestablishing terrorist infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon and advanced terror attacks against IDF troops.

Additionally, yesterday, the terrorist Muhammad Hussein Yassin, a senior terrorist in Hezbollah’s Shaqif area’s artillery unit, was eliminated.

Throughout the war, the terrorist advanced many terror attacks toward the Galilee panhandle and Kiryat Shmona, and operated to reestablish terror infrastructure sites in the area, and was involved in weapon smuggling to the south of the Litani River.

The terrorist’s activities constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel.


IDF: IDF troops continue operational activity in the Gaza Strip

Guided by IDF and ISA intelligence, IDF troops continue to operate against the terrorist organizations throughout the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday (Monday), IDF troops operating in Gaza City identified two armed terrorists attempting to approach their position. A short while later, the troops struck and eliminated the terrorists.

At the same time, IDF and IAF conducted precise strikes in Gaza City, eliminating a terrorist who was identified as the head of a Hamas cell, a terrorist carrying an RPG missile, and two additional terrorists who approached the troops and posed a threat to them.

In the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops struck and dismantled several structures and intelligence targets in the area.

Over the past day (Monday), the IAF struck more than 160 terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including terrorists, weapons storage facilities, observation posts, and terrorist infrastructure sites.

IDF: Earlier today (Tuesday), IDF troops identified and eliminated a terrorist armed with a gun and a grenade. The terrorist attempted to approach the forces’ position while concealing himself under a blanket. Immediately after identification, the troops eliminated the terrorist. No IDF soldiers were injured.

The IDF will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.

IDF: Initial report – A report was received regarding a terror attack at the
al-Khader Junction. The details are under review.


IDF: Following the initial report regarding a terror attack at the Al-Khader Junction, the security forces eliminated the terrorist who carried out the ramming and attempted stabbing attack at the scene.

IDF soldiers were dispatched to the scene to encircle and conduct roadblocks in the area.


Joint IDF and ISA Announcement:

The IDF and ISA struck and eliminated on September 9th, 2025, the terrorist Muhammad Rashid Muhammad Masri, a Hamas Nukhba Company Commander in the Beit Hanoun Battalion.

Masri infiltrated into Israeli territory during the brutal October 7th massacre and was directly involved in the April 19, 2025, attack against IDF troops in Beit Hanoun. In this attack, Warrant Officer G’haleb Sliman Alnasasra was killed, and a medical officer, combat medic, and additional soldier were severely injured.

In addition, throughout the war, Masri advanced terrorist attacks against the State of Israel and IDF troops.

The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against the terrorists who took part in the brutal October 7th massacre.

The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, in the Gaza Strip: “The war continues. The bravery of our soldiers and commanders across all arenas, and in Gaza in particular, is creating new opportunities and bringing us closer to meeting the war’s objectives. We must continue to excel in military action and lead with professionalism. The IDF will provide the political echelon with flexibility for any decision in conducting the campaign.”

The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, held today (Tuesday) a field tour in the Gaza Strip with the Commander of the Southern Command, MG Yaniv Asor; the Military Advocate General, MG Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi; the Commander of the 162nd Division, BG Sagiv Dahan; and brigade commanders.

The Chief of the General Staff spoke with the commanders and troops operating in the area, and held an operational situational assessment, in which he praised the troops’ performance in Operation “Gideon’s Chariots II”.

The Chief of the General Staff instructed the commanders regarding the framework for combat for the coming days, emphasizing the need to continue intense operations and to maintain a strong defensive support for the troops, alongside increasing vigilance, preparedness and readiness.

The Chief of the General Staff emphasized that the activities of the troops are being carried out responsibly and professionally in conjunction with the objectives of the war.

From the remarks of the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: “We are in a unique reality, in a period of historic war and at a consequential crossroads. The war continues. The bravery of our soldiers and commanders across all arenas, and in Gaza in particular, is leading to new opportunities and bringing us closer to meeting the war’s objectives. I am heavily involved in the inquiries into October 7th – one must not underestimate the enemy. As a rule, I direct that all of the IDF’s capabilities be harnessed and committed for the sake of the troops on the ground. All directorates and service branches are doing everything to ensure you do not lack anything. To achieve our objectives – the return of the hostages, the decisive defeat of Hamas, and the intensification of strikes against its capabilities. I am very impressed by your activity in the Gaza Strip; I have deep appreciation for you and for the troops, and we must maintain ironclad focus and patience as the war’s next developments unfold. We will continue to maintain readiness and vigilance, be prepared along the lines of defense, and operate offensively to achieve security.

IDF: IDF Troops Continue To Operate To Eliminate Terrorists and Dismantle Terrorist Infrastructure in the Gaza City Area

Guided by IDF and ISA intelligence, IDF troops continue operating against the terrorist organizations throughout the Gaza Strip.

IDF troops continue to operate in the Gaza City area.

As part of the operations in the area, yesterday evening (Tuesday), IDF troops conducted a targeted raid on a military structure in the area, in which weapons and military equipment were located and confiscated.

Over the past day, IDF troops identified several terrorists operating in the area and swiftly eliminated them. Additionally, several terrorists who were operating in a weapons storage facility were eliminated in an airstrike.

In the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops eliminated terrorists who posed a threat to them, struck several military structures and terrorist infrastructure sites.

IDF: Following an ISA investigation of the terrorist cell involved in rocket production that was apprehended last week in the Ramallah area, IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police forces operated overnight (Tuesday) in the area of Beitunia. The forces located 15 rockets in various stages of production, along with explosives, arms, and additional weapons that had been prepared and stockpiled by the cell.

The explosives and weapons were dismantled on site by the Israel Border Police’s explosive ordnance disposal personnel, and the arms were confiscated.

IDF: Over the past day, IDF troops began precise ground activity in the northern Gaza Strip aimed at strengthening and maintaining operational control of the Netzarim Corridor. As part of the activity, the troops acted to disrupt the operational capabilities of Hamas in the area and to expand operational control.

The IDF will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip in order to protect the State of Israel.


IDF: A short while ago (Thursday), a report was received regarding an attempted terror attack at the Bell checkpoint in Judea and Samaria. During which two terrorists arrived at the scene and attempted to run over the soldiers at the checkpoint.

One of the terrorists, who was armed, attempted to shoot at them, and the troops eliminated him. The second terrorist was apprehended by IDF troops.
No IDF injuries were reported.


IDF: The Terrorist Organizations are continuing attempts to Sabotage the Aid Distribution Centers: Projectiles Launched Toward an Aid Distribution Center in Rafah Were Identified

Yesterday (Wednesday), the IDF identified several projectiles launched from the Khan Yunis area in southern Gaza, toward the aid distribution site in Rafah.

The projectiles fell in the area of the aid distribution site, adjacent to the Morag Corridor. No damage was caused to the site.

Despite the projectile launches fired, the aid distribution site opened yesterday, and thousands of weekly food packages were distributed to Gazan residents, without Hamas’ involvement.

These launches are yet another example of the ongoing attempts by the terrorist organization to systematically…


IDF: Yesterday (Wednesday), the IDF struck and eliminated the Hezbollah terrorist Ali Muhammad Qara‘uni in the Kafra area in southern Lebanon.

The terrorist served as the local representative of Hezbollah in the Kafra area. In his position, he was responsible for the financial and military connections between Hezbollah and the residents of the village.

In addition, the terrorist operated to seize private assets for operational terrorist use, such as renting houses to store weapons and conduct surveillance.

Additionally, earlier today (Thursday), the IDF struck and eliminated two Hezbollah terrorists in Kfar Reman, southern Lebanon.

The terrorists held a role of engineering operatives in the organization, and took part in the reestablishment of Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure in the residential areas of Mount Dov and Khiam.

The terrorists’ activities constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel.


IDF: A short while ago, the IDF struck a site used to manage Hezbollah’s fire and defense array in which terrorist activity was identified in the area of the Beaufort Ridge in southern Lebanon.

At the site, weapons, military structures, and underground infrastructure sites were struck.

The presence of the site and the terrorist activity in it constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The IDF will continue to operate against any threat to the State of Israel.
