5,400+ Israelis wounded.
241 Confirmed hostages, among them 30 children under the age of 18.
40 confirmed missing persons.
9,000+ Rockets launched into Israel.
360,000+ Reservists drafted.
IDF called on residents of Gaza City to evacuate south of Wadi Gaza and opened multiple corridors
for the Gazan civilians to go south both on 14/10 and 15/10. More than 800,000 Gazan civilians
have left the area so far despite Hamas prevention.
Hamas is trying to prevent civilians from evacuating by obstructing the safe passage of residents of
the Gaza Strip to the south through roadblocks and pressuring Gazan civilians to stay in their
homes.
The IDF is operating inside the Gaza Strip and is preparing for the next stages of its operational
offensive plans.
The AIF thwarted an aerial threat in the area of the Red Sea using the “Arrow” Aerial Defense
System. This is the first operational interception by the “Arrow” Aerial Defense System since the
beginning of the war.
In accordance with the situational assessment and as part of defensive efforts in the area, Israeli
Navy missile boats arrived in the area of the Red Sea on 31/10.
IDF troops have completed encirclement of Gaza City, which is the focal point of the Hamas terror
organization.
Under coordination among Israel, the USA, Egypt, and the UN, international humanitarian aid is
entering into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah Crossing in Egypt. The aid includes water, food, and
medical supplies. since 21/ 10 300+ humanitarian aid trucks have entered.
Rocket attacks and attempted infiltrations from Southern Lebanon continue. The IDF forces
respond to the sources of fire as well as other Hezbollah military sites.
The IDF holds Lebanon and Syria responsible for all activity emanating from their borders.
US cargo planes and vessels with advanced armaments arrived in Israel so the IDF is fully equipped
for any scenario.
The U.S. support of Israel at this time is a sign of our strong partnership and mutual values. The IDF
is prepared to take necessary actions to defend Israeli civilians and values the strong relationship
and cooperation with the United States Armed Forces.
