YESTERDAY, NOVEMBER 25TH, AN ADDITIONAL 13 ISRAELI AND 4 FOREIGN NATIONAL HOSTAGES WERE RELEASED FROM HAMAS‘ CAPTIVITY AND WERE REUNITED WITH THEIR FAMILIES IN ISRAEL. THE SAFE RETURN OF ALL THE HOSTAGES IS A MORAL OBLIGATION OF ISRAEL AND THE IDF.

Operational Updates
- 70 IDF soldiers have been killed in action in the ground operation.
- IDF and ISA confirm the names of five additional senior commanders eliminated in the Gaza Strip prior to the operational pause; Ahmed Ghandour – Commander of Hamas’ Northern Gaza Brigade, responsible for directing all Hamas’ terror activities in the northern Gaza Strip, Aiman Siam – Head of Hamas’ Rockets Array. For approximately 15 years, Siam was a senior figure responsible for Hamas’ rocket forces, weapon inventories, and the guiding and directing of all Hamas’ rocket launches into Israel, Wael Rajeb – Deputy Commander of Hamas’ Northern Gaza Brigade, Farsan Halifa – Senior operative in Hamas’ Judea and Samaria Headquarters, head of the Tulkarm Committee, Rafet Salman – Commander of the Combat Assistance Unit in the northern Gaza Strip, a senior operative of the Gaza City Brigade.
- As per the political directives, the IDF is maintaining defensive positions and continuing troop movement for logistic and management purposes only.
- The operational framework advances the operational goals of rescuing hostages and dismantling Hamas. Operations will continue in Gaza following the pause and the IDF remains prepared to deal with all eventualities.
