Joint IDF and ISA Announcement:

Overnight (Wednesday), the IDF and ISA struck a gathering of terrorists operating within a Hamas and Islamic Jihad command and control center that was embedded within an area that previously served as the “Jaffa” School in Gaza City.

The command and control center was used by the terrorists to plan and execute terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians including the use of aerial surveillance and additional intelligence.

The terrorist organizations systematically violate international law while taking over civilian infrastructure, and while brutally exploiting the civilian population as a human shield for its terror attacks. The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.
