IDF: Today (Tuesday), in accordance with the directives from the political echelon, and as part of the cooperation between Israel, Jordan, the UAE, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore and Indonesia, the IDF, led by COGAT, is continuing the series of actions aimed at improving the humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip.
Over the past few hours, 185 aid packages containing food for the residents of the Gaza Strip were airdropped by eight different countries.
The IDF will continue to work in order to improve the humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip, along with the international community, while refuting the false claims of deliberate starvation in Gaza.

The IDF and ISA Eliminated a Hamas Terrorist Who Participated in Yarden Bibas’ Abduction
The IDF and ISA, with direction from the southern command, struck and eliminated on August 10th, 2025, the terrorist Jihad Kamal Salem Najjar, a terrorist in Hamas’ military wing.
The terrorist infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the brutal October 7th massacre and took part in the abduction of Yarden Bibas.
The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against the terrorists who took part in the brutal October 7th massacre.

IDF: On August 13th, 2025, in southern Khan Yunis, IDF troops eliminated the terrorist Muhammad Naif Abu Shamala, commander of a Nukhba company in Hamas’ military wing. The terrorist infiltrated Israel and took part in the attempted infiltration of the Ma’aras IDF Post during the brutal October 7th massacre.
During the war, and as part of his role in the Hamas terrorist organization, he advanced numerous terror attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.
The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against the terrorists who took part in the brutal October 7th massacre.

Humanitarian aid data and efforts for August 19:
Aid entry: Close to 400 humanitarian aid trucks entered Gaza through the Kerem Shalom and Zikim crossings.
Aid collection: Over 350 trucks were collected and distributed by the UN and international organizations. The contents of hundreds of trucks are still awaiting collection on the Gazan side of the crossings.
Fuel: Tankers of UN fuel entered for the operation of essential humanitarian systems.
Airdrops: 185 pallets of aid were airdropped in cooperation with countries.
We will continue expanding our efforts to facilitate humanitarian aid for the civilian population of Gaza.
IDF: The Issuance of Reserve Orders has Been Approved as Part of the Next Phase of Operation “Gideon’s Chariots”
As part of the preparations for the next phase of Operation “Gideon’s Chariots”, approximately 60,000 reserve orders were issued this morning. In addition, 20,000 reservists who have already been called up will receive a notice extending their current orders.
The decision regarding the reserves was made after in-depth discussions on the extent of manpower required for the continuation of combat and was approved by the Minister of Defense after all implications were presented to him.
The IDF values its reserve personnel, expresses appreciation for their contribution to the security of the State of Israel, and will continue to work to ensure proper service conditions and fair distribution of responsibilities.
IDF: A soldier in the 90th battalion, Kfir Brigade, was severely injured earlier today (Wednesday), during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
The soldier was evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment, and his family has been notified.
IDF: Earlier today (Wednesday), over fifteen terrorists fired both gunfire and anti-tank missiles and attempted to infiltrate a fortified position of the 90th battalion, Kfir Brigade, in the area of Khan Yunis. During the incident, the troops were able to eliminate ten armed terrorists in close-quarters combat, supported by IAF airstrikes.
The incident is still ongoing, and the troops continue to operate to locate and eliminate the terrorists.
As a result of the shots fired, a soldier in the 90th Battalion, Kfir Brigade, was severely injured, and two additional soldiers were lightly injured.
