IDF: Overnight, the IAF struck Hezbollah terror targets in more than 10 different areas in southern Lebanon. The targets included weapons storage facilities, military structures, and a launcher used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to carry out terror attacks against the State of Israel.

IDF: IDF operational activity continues throughout the Gaza Strip
Last night (Wednesday), with the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on a weapons storage facility. The target was located adjacent to a Hamas command and control center inside the compound that previously served as the “Salah al-Din” School in Gaza City. The weapons storage facility was used to store rockets and other weapons intended to be used in attacks against Israeli territory.
Over the past day, IDF troops eliminated over 50 terrorists and dismantled terrorist infrastructure sites in the Tal as Sultan area in Rafah. During one operation, the troops identified a terrorist cell on its way to attack IDF troops. An IAF aircraft then struck the terrorists and eliminated them.
Based on precise IDF intelligence indicating the presence of terrorist infrastructure and Hamas terrorists in the Khan Yunis area and the outskirts of Deir al-Balah, IDF troops have intensified their operational activities in the area. Over the past day, the troops have dismantled dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites, located rockets, and eliminated terrorists in the area.
Furthermore, the IAF eliminated a number of terrorist cells and dismantled a structure rigged with explosives that posed a threat to IDF troops.

Explosives in UNRWA Bags and Hidden Weapons Near a School Compound; Activities of the Nahal Brigade in Tel al-Sultan
For the past few days, troops of the Nahal Brigade have been conducting precise, intelligence-based targeted operations in the ‘Tel al-Sultan’ area in Rafah as part of a divisional operation of the 162nd Division. Directed by the division’s Fire Control Center and the troops in the field, an IAF aircraft eliminated an armed terrorist cell and dismantled terrorist infrastructure.
While carrying out intelligence based searches in the area near the schools’ compound, the troops of the 50th Battalion located a large amount of weapons, among them: rifles, explosives, military vests, and intelligence documents of the enemy.
Additionally, the troops located UNRWA bags containing hidden explosives meant to be used in attacks on IDF troops.

IDF: The Military Court extended the house arrest of those suspected of abusing the security detainee until September 4th, 2024, after reviewing the investigation material and determining that there is reasonable suspicion and grounds for arrest.
Alongside this, the Military Court ruled that the defense will be allowed to hold a hearing at an earlier date, on August 25th, 2024, as long as it asks to offer a detailed alternative to detention, including a place of work and suitable supervisors.

Over the past day (Thursday), the Hezbollah terrorist organization fired numerous projectiles from southern Lebanon toward multiple areas in northern Israel. These projectiles hit communities including Zar’it and Metula, and damaged civilian infrastructure including houses and a soccer field.
During the day, the IAF struck a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the area of Jibbain in southern Lebanon.
Following the strikes, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of large amounts of weapons in the facility.
Furthermore, the IAF struck Hezbollah military structures in the areas of Ayta ash Shab and Meiss El Jabal in southern Lebanon.
Additionally, IDF artillery struck in the areas of Kfarchouba, Ayta ash Shab and Hamoul in southern Lebanon.
