IDF troops also identified terrorists in the area of Al-Shati. The troops directed an IDF aircraft to eliminate the terrorists.

Over the last day, approximately 230 terror targets were struck by IDF aircraft in the Gaza Strip.

IDF: Earlier today, IAF fighter jets struck a series of Hezbollah military targets in Lebanese territory. Among the targets struck were Hezbollah launch posts, military structures and terrorist infrastructure. Furthermore, IAF fighter jets, aircraft, and IDF tanks and artillery struck Hezbollah military infrastructure in Lebanon.

Additionally, IDF artillery struck a number of areas in Lebanese territory.

Furthermore, a number of launches toward the areas of Dovev, Avivim, and Har Dov in northern Israel were identified earlier today. In response, the IDF struck the sources of the fire. Two Israeli civilians were lightly injured as a result of the launches toward the area of Dovev. IDF: Helmet Cam Footage: Counterterrorism Troops in Action in the Gaza Strip

In the Beit Hanoun area, soldiers from the Counterterrorism (Lotar) Unit identified a terrorist emerging from a tunnel shaft while firing bursts of shots at the forces, seemingly to draw them toward explosives planted near the forces. The soldiers opened fire, threw grenades and neutralized the threat from a distance. Following the incident, the soldiers destroyed the tunnel shaft.

During the battles at a school in the depths of Shejaiya, soldiers of the 188th Brigade fought in close-quarters combat with a terrorist squad and located a significant underground shaft in a school. The terrorists tried to direct the force into an ambush with explosives and the soldiers responded by eliminating the terrorists, with the help of tank fire and UAVs.

IDF: ”Yahalom” Unit Combat Engineering Forces destroyed a network of underground tunnels in Hamas’ “Elite Quarter” in Gaza City

Last night (Wednesday), the IDF exposed the terrorist infrastructure embedded in Hamas’ “Elite Quarter” in Gaza City, including a large network of strategic underground tunnels which connect hideouts, and bureaus belonging to Hamas’ senior military and political leadership. Today (Thursday), the network of tunnels was destroyed in a controlled manner.
