IDF: Tens of terrorists eliminated in joint IDF ground and air forces’ operational effort
As part of ground operations, and in preparation for a planned ambush in the area of Issa in northern Gaza City, IDF ground troops fired decoy shots that lured dozens of terrorists from a building that served as a Hamas headquarters. During the joint operational activity, IDF ground and intelligence troops directed an IAF fighter jet to strike the building, eliminating the terrorists.
During the strike in the area of Issa, IDF troops identified armed terrorists that attempted to attack the troops, which were eliminated by IDF sniper fire. Additional terrorist infrastructure was located in the area, including buildings used as Hamas military sites which were struck and destroyed by the troops.
In the neighborhood of Bakshi in southern Gaza City, IDF troops identified a stockpile of weapons located inside a kindergarten, including toy boxes filled with dozens of mortar shells, warheads, and RPG type anti-tank missiles.
During additional operational activity in Gaza City, IDF troops directed an IAF fighter jet and aircraft to strike and eliminate an armed terrorist cell that was identified by the troops.
Furthermore, during operational activity in the outskirts of Al-Shati, IDF troops identified three terrorists who fired at the troops. In response, the troops directed an IAF aircraft and fighter jet to strike and eliminate the three terrorists.

IDF: Overnight and this morning, the IDF struck a number of Hezbollah terrorist targets, including operational terrorist infrastructure and a military complex.

More than 200 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist operatives apprehended by the IDF and ISA in the Gaza Strip over the last week were taken for further questioning in Israel
Within a week, the IDF and ISA apprehended hundreds of suspects involved in terrorist activities in the Gaza Strip, and over 200 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist operatives were brought for further questioning in Israel. Some of the operatives voluntarily turned themselves in and were transferred by field interrogators from Unit 504 in the Intelligence Directorate and the ISA.
Overall, over 700 operatives from terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip have been taken for further questioning thus far.

IDF: The Chief of the General Staff in Khan Yunis: “The Operations are Impressive, There is Still Work To Do”
The Chief of the General Staff held a situational assessment today (Saturday) with the troops in Khan Yunis, with the Head of the Southern Command, Major General Yaron Finkelman, the CO of the 98th Brigade, Brigadier General Dan Goldfus, and Head of the Givati Brigade, Colonel Liron Betito.

IDF: IDF troops located weapons compound with dozens of mortar shells and hundreds of grenades embedded inside a civilian building
IDF troops are continuing to operate against terrorist infrastructure and operatives in the Gaza Strip. In the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops located a Hamas weapons compound inside a civilian structure. Explosive belts adapted for children, dozens of mortar shells, hundreds of grenades, and intelligence documents were found inside the compound, which was located adjacent to schools, a mosque, and a medical clinic.
During IDF activity in the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops identified a number of terrorists that exited a Hamas military compound containing observation assets. The ground forces directed an aerial strike on the compound and the terrorists were killed.
During IDF activity in Jabalya, the troops together with an aircraft and artillery, killed seven terrorists and destroyed four Hamas observation assets distributed in the area.
In addition, during a targeted raid on a military command center in Khan Yunis, IDF soldiers located numerous weapons, including dozens of grenades and explosives.
Over the past day, IDF ground, aerial, and naval forces struck approximately 200 terror targets in the Gaza Strip.

IDF: Earlier today, numerous launches were identified toward the area of Keren Naftali, northern Israel. The IDF responded with fire toward the sources of the launches.
A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck a number of Hezbollah military targets in Lebanon, including terror infrastructure, military structures, and launch posts.
IDF: Close-quarters combat; the Givati Brigade deepens operations in the heart of Khan Yunis
The Givati Brigade has been operating intensely over the past three weeks in Khan Yunis, expanding their operational hold and killing terrorists in close-quarters combat.
This week, five terrorists emerged from a tunnel shaft and began to shoot at forces in the area. Soldiers of the Givati Brigade’s Reconnaissance Unit rushed the terrorists and eliminated them at close range. Immediately afterward, the forces identified four additional terrorists emerging from a nearby building. The soldiers directed IAF aircraft in a strike on the building that killed the terrorists.
In another strike during a raid on buildings in Khan Yunis, an explosive device was detonated against the soldiers. As a result, Staff Sergeant Nir Rafael Kananian and Staff Sergeant Birhanu Kassie, may their memories be a blessing, were killed, and five additional soldiers were injured. The following day, soldiers of the Givati Brigade’s Reconnaissance Unit, in cooperation with the Engineering Corps, detonated the booby-trapped buildings where the soldiers were killed.
