IDF: Earlier today, a launcher that was identified in Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon, violating the agreements between Israel and Lebanon and posing a threat to the State of Israel, was struck by the IAF.
Additionally, the IDF dismantled weapons that were located in the Khiam, Souaneh, and Aitaroun areas in southern Lebanon.
The IDF remains in southern Lebanon and acts against any threat to the State of Israel.

Joint IDF and ISA announcement:
It has been cleared for publication that during an ISA operation supported by the IDF, the body of Israeli hostage Itai Svirski was recovered from the Gaza Strip and returned to Israel for burial.
Itai, a resident of Kibbutz Be’eri, was abducted by the Hamas terrorist organization on October 7th, 2023, was murdered in captivity by his captors, and his body was held hostage in the Gaza Strip.
Alongside the operational efforts, the Hostages and Missing Persons Unit within the IDF’s Manpower Directorate, responsible for supporting the families of hostages, operated alongside the Institute of Forensic Medicine and the Israel Police throughout the identification process. ISA and IDF representatives delivered the news to the family earlier today.
The ISA, the IDF, and additional Israeli security forces extend their deepest condolences to the family and will continue to work tirelessly to bring all the hostages home.
