IDF: Elimination of terrorists and targeted raids on terror targets; IDF operational activity in Zaytun continues. IAF and Israeli Navy troops continue to destroy terrorist infrastructure throughout the Gaza Strip
Over the past day, IDF troops continued to expand the offensive activity in the area of Zaytun in northern Gaza. At the same time, IDF ground troops continue to engage and kill terrorists and destroy terrorist infrastructure in the area of Khan Yunis.
Overnight, Israeli Naval Forces targeted and destroyed a number of vessels used by the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations in southern Gaza.
IDF ground troops directed fighter jets and aircraft to strike over 10 targets, from which attacks were carried out and directed against IDF troops in the area of Zaytun.
As part of joint IAF and IDF troops’ operational activity in Zaytun, forces destroyed several terrorist infrastructure and killed approximately 20 terrorists over the past day.
During one of the operations, the troops identified a terrorist carrying an RPG who was operating adjacent to them. The troops engaged the terrorist and eliminated him in close-combat prior to him being able to harm them.
During searches carried out by IDF troops in the central Gaza Strip, the troops located and destroyed a, booby trapped launch position in the area from which launches toward Israeli territory were most likely being planned.
Over the past day, IDF troops eliminated over 15 terrorists in western Khan Yunis. During targeted raids, the troops located AK-47s, grenades, additional military equipment, as well as additional explosive devices intended to harm the troops. Additionally, IDF directed an aircraft to strike a military site in which a terrorist cell was identified.
As part of a sniper ambush carried out by IDF troops in the area, troops successfully eliminated an armed terrorist cell.
Furthermore, IDF troops located several weapons, documents, and Hamas military equipment in western Khan Yunis.

IDF soldiers identified terrorists entering a Hezbollah military compound in the area of Blida. Following the identification, IDF fighter jets were scrambled and struck the compound where the terrorists were identified.
In addition, during the day, IDF artillery fired in order to remove a threat in a number of areas in southern Lebanon.

IDF: The IAF thwarted an aerial threat – the seventh operational interception of the “Arrow” long-range Aerial Defense System since the beginning of the war
In the early hours of the morning (Thursday), the “Arrow” Aerial Defense System detected a long-range ballistic target that was launched from south-east towards the airspace of the State of Israel.
The systems followed the trajectory of the missile, and the soldiers of the “Arrow” Unit of the Aerial Defense Array intercepted it outside the borders of the State of Israel.

IDF: A terrorist who was on his way to commit a terror attack, and who carried out several shooting attacks over the past weeks was eliminated in an aerial strike in Jenin
Last night (Thursday), in a joint IDF and ISA activity directed by IDF and ISA intelligence, an IDF UAV eliminated Yasser Hanoun, a resident of Jenin and an Islamic Jihad terrorist, who had previously been detained for his involvement in the terrorist organization’s military activities.
Over the past few months, Yasser had been involved in several shooting attacks targeting Israeli communities including Meirav and Mevo Dotan, as well as shooting attacks at IDF soldiers and military posts along the buffer zone near the Judea and Samaria security barrier, including the Salem and Jalameh Crossings. The terrorist was eliminated while en route to carry out another shooting attack.
