IDF: Terrorists who attempted to hide behind evacuating civilians were identified and apprehended by IDF troops; IDF activity continues in western Khan Yunis, Zaytun, and the central Gaza Strip
IDF troops are continuing their operational activity in western Khan Yunis. Over the past day, during efforts to evacuate the civilian population from combat zones, the troops identified and apprehended terrorists who had attempted to escape by hiding amongst the civilians.
In other activities in the area, the troops killed a number of terrorists and located weapons in the area.
IDF troops are continuing targeted raids on terror targets in the Gaza Strip. During a Givati Brigade activity, the troops located numerous weapons including a sniper rifle, an AK-47, grenades, and ammunition.
Furthermore, IDF soldiers identified a terrorist cell that had been using a drone. An aircraft eliminated a number of the terrorists.
Moreover, a number of terrorists were killed in the central Gaza Strip over the past day. As part of the ongoing IDF activity in Zaytun, the troops killed a number of terrorists, located weapons, and destroyed launch zones in the area. Additionally, a terrorist cell that was identified using a drone in the area of Shati was eliminated by an IAF aircraft.
Over the past day, the IAF carried out a number of strikes throughout the Gaza Strip against Hamas’ aerial unit. The terror targets that were struck include a number of rocket launch posts directed toward Israeli territory.

IDF: During the last week, the precise and limited operation against the Hamas terrorist organization at the Nasser Hospital was concluded
Approximately 200 terror suspects were detained in the hospital and additional findings indicating terrorist activity in the area were discovered; Operations to supply the hospital with humanitarian aid continued, led by the Commando Brigade and the Coordination and Liaison Administration for Gaza
During the last week, the precise operation of the 98th Division and Shayetet 13 against the Hamas terrorist organization in the area of the Nasser Hospital was concluded. During the operational activity, boxes of sealed medicines were found in the hospital with the names of Israeli hostages on them, large quantities of weapons were found, and about 200 terrorists and suspects in terrorist activities were detained.
The operational activity was conducted to ensure minimal disruption to the hospital’s ongoing activities and without harming patients and medical staff. Furthermore, the soldiers of the division provided an alternative generator that allowed the hospital to continue functioning and treating patients, while all the vital systems of the hospital continued to operate on an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) throughout the operational activity. In addition, officers from the Coordination and Liaison Administration for Gaza coordinated the entry of professional officials to examine the electricity problem in the hospital.
Last week, the hospital received a supply of hundreds of food portions, including water, food, medical equipment and baby formula. Coordination was carried out with the international community to bring in a fuel tank to keep the hospital’s generators functioning.
As part of the effort to protect the patients, officers from the Coordination and Liaison Administration for Gaza coordinated, at the request of the hospital staff and in cooperation with the international community, the transfer of several critically ill patients to other hospitals in the area.
Before the soldiers exited the hospital, the area was cleaned and an additional food shipment was delivered to the hospital.
The IDF will continue to operate in accordance with international law against the Hamas terrorist organization, which systematically operates from hospitals and civilian infrastructure.

IDF: Earlier today, the IDF Aerial Defense Array intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon into the Upper Galilee in northern Israel.
Over the past hours, launches were identified from Lebanon toward the areas of Margaliot, Har Dov, Kiryat Shemona, Manara, and Malkia in northern Israel. The IDF struck the sources of the fire.
An aircraft identified a terrorist cell exiting a Hezbollah military compound in the area of Blida. IDF fighter jets struck the terrorist cell and two additional military compounds in the area.

IDF: IDF activities in Zaytun continue: IDF troops killed over 30 terrorists over the past day; in parallel, IDF troops continue to intensify their activities in the area of Khan Yunis
As a part of IDF activities in Zaytun in the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops continue to conduct activities in the area.
Over the past day, with assistance from the IAF, IDF troops killed approximately 30 terrorists who operated adjacent to IDF troops in the area.
During one of the activities, IDF troops directed an IDF fighter jet that struck and killed a sniper perched on a post in a compound adjacent to IDF troops.
In the central Gaza Strip, IDF troops killed over ten terrorists during the past day.
During IDF activities in the area, the troops identified an armed terrorist cell approaching them. The troops killed the terrorists.
In the area of Khan Yunis, IDF troops identified a terrorist armed with an RPG. The troops monitored the terrorist and directed an aircraft that struck and killed him.
In western Khan Yunis, IDF troops killed a number of terrorists using tank and sniper fire. In addition, IDF troops directed a fighter jet that struck a compound in which two terrorists were located. Following the strike, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the terrorists were carrying numerous weapons.
During IDF activities in western Khan Yunis, IDF troops killed a number of terrorists, including two armed terrorists who were killed from close quarters.
In addition, in a targeted raid on terrorist infrastructure in the area, IDF troops located weapon parts along with grenades, ammunition, and additional military equipment.
In additional IDF activity in the area, during a targeted raid on terror targets, IDF troops identified two terrorists observing troops and fired toward them. Additional terrorists were killed during the activity.
Furthermore, over the past day, IDF aerial and ground troops killed an armed terrorist cell operating adjacent to IDF troops in western Khan Yunis.

IDF: This morning (Monday), the ‘David’s Sling’ Aerial Defense System intercepted a surface-to-air missile that was fired toward an Israeli Air Force UAV operating in Lebanon. Following the launch of the interceptor, sirens were sounded in the area of Alon Tavor in northern Israel. No injuries were reported.
A short while after, an additional missile launch toward the UAV was identified and the UAV fell inside Lebanese territory.
The IDF will continue operating to defend the State of Israel from the threat of Hezbollah terrorist organization, including in aerial operations above Lebanese territory.

IDF: A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck sites used by Hezbollah’s Aerial Defense Array in the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon.
The strikes are in response to the launch of a surface-to-air missile at an IDF Hermes-450 UAV which fell earlier today (Monday).
The IDF will continue operating to defend the State of Israel from the threat of Hezbollah terrorist organization, including in aerial operations above Lebanese territory.
IDF: An IDF aircraft targeted and eliminated Hassan Hossein Salami, the Hezbollah terrorist responsible for the Hajir region, in a strike in southern Lebanon.
Salami was part of Hezbollah’s Nasser Unit and commanded recent terrorist activities by Hezbollah against Israeli civilians and soldiers, including anti-tank missile launches toward Kiryat Shmona and the headquarters of the 769th Brigade.

IDF: A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck a launch site in the area of Kawkaba from which dozens of launches were carried out toward the Golan Heights approximately an hour ago.
Over the past hours, IDF fighter jets struck Hezbollah military compounds in the area of Ayta ash Shab in southern Lebanon.
Earlier today, an IDF tank struck an additional Hezbollah military compound in Kfarkela.

IDF: IDF troops are continuing operations against Hamas terrorist operatives and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip
IDF ground troops are continuing to conduct targeted raids in the area of Zaytun, including in joint operations with the IAF. The forces located a weapons manufacturing facility, rocket launchers, and systems used by Hamas in combat with the IDF. After identifying a number of terrorists inside a tunnel shaft, the troops destroyed the shaft and eliminated the terrorists. In a separate operation in Zaytun, IDF troops located a weapons storage facility, as well as a lathe with a significant amount of equipment.
In central Gaza, IDF troops eliminated several terrorists, and located terrorist infrastructure and dozens of weapons over the past day. IDF engineering troops destroyed dozens of strategic sites belonging to Hamas.
In response to the launches toward the Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip yesterday morning (Monday), the IAF struck an operational center from which a number of the launches were carried out in the central Gaza Strip, as well as a launcher used to fire a number of the rockets. An additional operational center used by terrorists to fire at troops in the area was also struck.
Over the past day, as part of IDF efforts to evacuate Gazan civilians from the combat zone, the troops apprehended a number of terrorists who tried to flee under the cover of the civilian population. In additional activities, IDF troops eliminated a number of terrorists at close range, including terrorist operatives who were identified observing the troops.
IDF troops are continuing to operate in western Khan Yunis. Over the past day, the troops carried out targeted raids and operated to secure areas adjacent to the Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip.

IDF: This morning (Tuesday), approximately 35 launches were identified crossing from Lebanon into the area of Mount Meron in northern Israel. There were no injuries or damage to the IDF Aerial Control Unit in the area.
In response, IDF fighter jets struck a military site and Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in the areas of Hanniyeh, Jibchit, Baisariyeh, and Mansouri. IDF artillery also struck in the area of Yaroun in order to remove a threat.

IDF: After Intensive Combat with Terrorists, IDF Soldiers Recovered Footage from a Hamas Terrorist’s Camera
Over the last week, the soldiers of the 932nd Battalion Combat Team have been operating against Hamas in the Zeitoun area in the northern Gaza Strip. During one encounter with terrorists, SSGT Avraham Wovagen z”l, fell in battle. Following this encounter, several terrorist cells suspected of shooting at the soldier were eliminated using an aircraft operated by the brigade.
Later that day, the soldiers carried out a targeted raid on a structure used to fire at the forces. The soldiers located weapons used by Hamas, including a short-range anti-tank missile, pistols, sniper weapons and ammunition.
A terrorist’s camera was located at the scene, with footage exposing Hamas’ method of firing the anti-tank missiles from built-up areas and inside buildings, as well as how the enemy operates in the area.
