IDF Updates – November 11

IDF: IDF ground troops are continuing to operate in the Gaza Strip – eliminating terrorists and directing aircraft and artillery to strike terrorist infrastructure. Since the beginning of the ground operation, the IDF has taken control of 11 military posts belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization.

In addition, IDF soldiers identified a suspicious vehicle parked in a necessary transit area used by the troops. Following inspections, the troops confirmed that the vehicle was rigged with explosives – which was subsequently struck by aircraft. During additional ground activity in the Gaza Strip, IDF troops located and destroyed an underground tunnel route near a school.
Moreover, IDF soldiers identified a terrorist cell approaching IDF troops who were operating in the area. Aircraft struck the cell, removing the threat.

Overnight, IDF naval forces struck infrastructure used by the Hamas terrorist organization against IDF troops in the northern Gaza Strip. In addition, weapons depots containing equipment used by Hamas naval forces were struck. IDF infantry forces in the Gaza Strip identified military targets inside the Al-Shati Camp and directed IDF Naval Forces which struck the targets.

IDF: In recent days, IDF ground troops killed numerous terrorists and struck terror infrastructure and weapons belonging to Hamas’ Zabra Tel Elhua Battalion. These activities are a part of the joint intelligence effort of the IDF and ISA to significantly degrade the battalion, including the elimination of the battalion’s commander, which was announced on November 3rd.

IDF troops conducted raids, which included extensive battles in the southern area of Sheikh Ijlin, in western Gaza City, where a significant number of Hamas operatives were located. During the raids, the troops killed numerous terrorists from Hamas’ Zabra Tel Elhua Battalion and struck terrorist infrastructure, including tunnel shafts, rocket launchers, weapon depots, observation posts, and terror tunnels.

Joint IDF and ISA announcement:

The IDF and ISA killed the terrorist who held hostage approximately 1000 Gazan residents at the Rantisi Hospital in the Gaza Strip

Based on precise IDF and ISA intelligence, and with the direction of IDF ground troops, IDF aircraft struck Ahmed Siam, a company commander of the Naser Radwan Company of the Hamas terrorist organization. Two days ago, the IDF spokesperson exposed that Siam held hostage approximately 1000 Gazan residents at the Rantisi Hospital and prevented them from evacuating southwards for their safety.

Ahmed Siam was killed while hiding in the “al Buraq” school, where additional terrorists under this command were also hiding and were killed. Ahmed Siam demonstrates once again that Hamas uses the civilians of the Gaza Strip as human shields for terror purposes.

IDF: A record time of 6 minutes from the call to the strike – the cooperation and assistance between the Air Force and the ground forces in the Gaza Strip continues.

Since the beginning of ground operations in Gaza, the Air Force, with the assistance and direction of the ground forces, has struck approximately 5,000 targets in the Gaza Strip to eliminate threats in real time.

Approximately 3,300 strikes were carried out by fighter jets, 860 strikes were carried out by combat helicopters and over 570 strikes were carried out by UAVs.

These strikes assist the ground forces in dealing with threats and coordinating firepower in a short time, with the shortest time measured being 6 minutes from the moment of the call to the strike.

The forces of the 551st Brigade, a reserve brigade of commando and paratrooper soldiers, has been operating in the Beit Hanoun area for the past two weeks.

During the operations, and in coordination with air, engineering and armored forces the brigade eliminated terrorists, scanned for weapons and struck hundreds of targets.

In addition, the brigade’s forces exposed and destroyed dozens of tunnel openings and secured military and civilian structures where large quantities of weapons, maps and intelligence files of the Hamas terrorist organization were stored.

IDF: The IDF enabled the evacuation of the Rantisi and Nasser hospitals and opened an additional route to facilitate the movement of the civilian population of the Gaza Strip southward

Following the repeated calls for the residents of Gaza City to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip for their safety, due to the military activity in the area, the IDF enabled the evacuation of the Rantisi and Nasser hospitals.

IDF troops opened and secured an evacuation route yesterday (Friday), along which civilians can go on foot and in ambulances. During the IDF activity to secure the corridor, armed terrorists approached the troops, and fired RPGs toward them. IDF troops struck the terrorists.

The terrorist organization Hamas operates terrorist networks in civilian buildings while cynically exploiting them, including the Rantisi hospital.
