IDF: A Hamas operative responsible for interrogating individuals suspected of espionage against the terrorist organization was eliminated; The rocket launchers used to fire at Netivot yesterday were located and destroyed

During joint IDF and ISA operational activity, an IAF aircraft eliminated Bilal Nofal, who was responsible for interrogating individuals suspected of carrying out espionage activities against the terrorist organization in the southern Gaza Strip. Nofal played a role in the advancement of Hamas’ research and development processes. His elimination significantly impacts the terrorist organization’s capacity to develop and enhance its capabilities.

Following the rocket attack on the city of Netivot yesterday (Tuesday), IDF troops located the launch compound from which the rockets were fired inside the Gaza Strip. The troops found three launchers, each with ten barrels, a number of which were loaded with rockets. The troops destroyed the compound and the launchers.

In Khan Yunis, IDF troops identified three terrorists escaping to a building after they fired mortar shells at the troops. The troops directed a helicopter to strike and kill the three terrorists.

In the outskirts of Sheikh Ijlin in central Gaza, IDF troops identified two terrorists. The troops directed an IAF aircraft to strike and kill the terrorists. Additionally, IDF troops located large quantities of weapons in the area.

Last night (Tuesday), Israeli naval troops struck a number of Hamas terror targets as part of their assistance to IDF ground troops operating in the Gaza Strip.

IDF: Footage of the IDF locating and destroying rocket launchers used to fire at Netivot yesterday: 646th Brigade Combat Team operating near Bureij in the Gaza Strip

In recent weeks, the 646th Brigade Combat Team have been operating near Bureij in the Gaza Strip. While they were operating, a barrage of approximately 25 rockets was fired toward the city of Netivot in southern Israel yesterday (Tuesday). The soldiers pursued the terrorist suspected of launching the rockets and apprehended seven armed terrorists. In addition, several other terrorist operatives were killed by the troops during the operation.

At the end of the pursuit, the launch compound was located, with three rocket launchers, each with ten barrels, some of which were loaded with rockets ready for launch. The compound and the rocket launchers were destroyed in an engineering operation by the combat engineering soldiers from the 710th Battalion.

IDF: Throughout the day (Wednesday), a number of launches from Lebanon toward Israel were identified. One of the terrorist cells responsible for firing at Rosh HaNikra in northern Israel was immediately identified, tracked and struck by an IDF aircraft.

In response to the launches, IDF fighter jets struck terrorist infrastructure sites and a number of active launchers in southern Lebanon, including the launcher used to fire at Har Dov earlier today. A rocket launcher in the area of Khiam was also struck before it could be used to fire projectiles.

IDF artillery struck several additional locations in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah’s ongoing terrorist activity and attacks against Israel violate UN Security Council Resolution 1701. The IDF will continue to defend its borders from any threat.

IDF: The IDF thwarted terrorists who attempted to fire mortar shells at the troops and struck a rocket launch post that fired toward the State of Israel

In Khan Yunis, approximately 40 terrorists were killed over the past day by IDF troops operating in the area. Following IDF intelligence, the troops conducted a targeted raid on the residence of a terrorist where ten grenades, AK-47 rifles, military equipment, and technological assets were located. In addition, magazines, grenades, and AK-47 rifles, and maps were also located.
In Khan Yunis, IDF troops also identified four terrorists that advanced toward them. An IDF tank fired in response and eliminated the threat.

In the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops killed two armed terrorists who planned to ambush IDF troops. Furthermore, a number of aerial strikes on armed terrorists that posed a threat to IDF troops were carried out, including against terrorists operating adjacent to a school.

In Zabra, IDF troops located anti-tank explosives devices, RPG launchers, military equipment and technological assets.

In the northern Gaza Strip, IDF troops located terrorists rigging a vehicle with explosives, and entering a known Islamic Jihad compound. A short while after, while one of the terrorists exited the Islamic Jihad compound, IDF troops simultaneously directed an aircraft that struck and killed the terrorist. Furthermore, shots were fired at the vehicle, and the subsequent explosion indicated that the vehicle was rigged with explosives.

IDF: A short while ago, two launches were identified from Lebanon toward the area of Arab al-Aramshe in northern Israel. Both launches fell in open areas.

Earlier today (Thursday), IAF fighter jets struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure in the area of Al-Adisa in southern Lebanon. The IDF also struck in the areas of Kafr Kila and Marjaayoun in southern Lebanon.

IDF: IDF troops conducted a targeted raid on the “Martyrs Outpost”: Operations of the Givati Brigade in the southernmost area of Khan Yunis

In Khan Yunis, the Givati Brigade is now fighting in the southernmost area that IDF ground troops have operated in so far. The soldiers eliminated dozens of terrorists in close-quarters combat and with the assistance of tank fire and air support.

The Givati Brigade’s soldiers conducted a targeted raid on the “Martyrs’ Outpost”, belonging to the Southern Battalion of Hamas’ Khan Yunis Brigade, and the offices of the Battalion Commander and other Hamas military commanders. The soldiers located numerous weapons and intelligence documents, including dozens of hand grenades, AK-47s, ammunition, excavation equipment, launchers, RPG missiles, explosives, and combat management documents. The battalion compound included a training area for both open and urban warfare, alongside operational offices used by Hamas terrorists of the Khan Yunis Brigade.
