Joint IDF and ISA Announcement:
Earlier today (Monday), during a joint IDF and ISA counterterrorism activity, an IAF aircraft struck and eliminated Ihab Abu Atiwi, a terrorist who served as the head of the Hamas terrorist organization in Tulkarm, and an additional terrorist.
Abu Atiwi was involved in numerous shooting attacks, including an attack on an Israeli vehicle at the Ramin junction on July 16, 2024, in which three Israeli citizens were injured.
His elimination is part of the intensive counterterrorism operations conducted by the ISA and IDF against terrorist networks in northern Samaria.
Additionally, a short while ago, as part of the counterterrorism efforts in Judea and Samaria, IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police forces initiated a counterterrorism operation in Tulkarm.

IDF: Over the past hour, in order to eliminate the threat, an IAF aircraft struck a Hezbollah truck and an additional vehicle that transferred weapons in the area of Chaqif and Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.
The truck and the additional vehicle were struck after being monitored by the IDF at the time of the transfer of the weapons.
The IDF is determined to continue to operate in accordance with the understanding between Israel and Lebanon, despite Hezbollah’s attempts to return to southern Lebanon, and will operate against any threat posed to the state of Israel and its citizens.
IDF: Over the past day (Tuesday), the IDF operated to distance suspects who posed a threat to the troops operating in several areas in the Gaza Strip.
In central Gaza, an IDF aircraft fired to distance several suspicious vehicles that were moving north in an area that is not authorized for passage according to the ceasefire agreement, in violation of the agreement terms.
In southern Gaza, the troops fired warning shots toward suspects who were moving toward them and posed a threat to them. After the suspects continued moving toward them, additional shots were fired in order to remove the threat. Hits were identified.
Moreover, a number of suspects who posed a threat to IDF troops operating in several areas in the Gaza Strip were identified, and the troops fired warning shots toward the suspects.
The IDF is determined to fully maintain the terms of the agreement in order to return the hostages. The IDF is prepared for any scenario and will continue to take any necessary actions to thwart any immediate threat to IDF soldiers.
The IDF calls the residents of Gaza to follow its instructions and avoid approaching the troops deployed in the area.
