IDF: Following the siren that sounded at 12:08 in Be’eri, an attempt was made to intercept a projectile that crossed from the central Gaza Strip into Israeli territory.
The results of the interception are under review. No injuries were reported.

Over the past day, in an activity based on IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF struck approximately 40 Hamas terrorist gathering points, as well as Hamas command and control centers throughout the Gaza Strip.

Dozens of terrorists who had planned and executed terrorist attacks against IDF troops and the citizens of Israel had operated from within these areas.

Some of the terror targets struck were embedded in areas that previously served as schools.

During the past week, soldiers of the Nahal Brigade under the command of the Gaza Division operated in the Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza. Their mission focused on dismantling enemy infrastructure and neutralizing terrorist cells, acting on prior intelligence and as part of the effort to ensure the security of Israeli border communities.

IDF: AK-47 Rifles and Ammunition Found in a School: Hamas Continues To Exploit Schools For Terrorism

The Givati Brigade, under the command of the 162nd Division, is operating in the Jabaliya area to locate weapons, neutralize terrorists, and destroy terrorist infrastructure.

This week, the troops conducted searches in a building previously used as a school in Jabaliya, where the soldiers discovered numerous weapons.

Joint IDF and Israel Police announcement:

A number of drone smuggling attempts from Israeli territory into the Gaza Strip were recently observed.

Overnight, another such smuggling attempt from Israel into the Gaza Strip was observed. IDF and Israel Police forces deployed in the area apprehended a suspected smuggler as he tried to flee from where he was operate the drone.

Another drone containing drugs ready to smuggle into the Gaza Strip was also located in the suspect’s vehicle.

The suspect, along with the findings, were transferred to the central unit in the Southern District of the Israel Police for further investigation.
