IDF Updates – January 6th

IDF: Initial report – a report was received regarding a shooting attack adjacent to Kdumim. Details to follow.


IDF: Following the initial report, terrorists opened fire toward a civilian bus and vehicles adjacent to Al Funduq. As a result of the attack, a number of civilians were injured to varying degrees and are currently receiving medical treatment.

Israeli Security Forces are pursuing the terrorists, setting up roadblocks and encircling several towns in the area.


IDF: Initial report – Sirens sounded in the communities near the Gaza Strip. The details are under review.


IDF: Following the sirens that sounded between 11:11 and 11:12 in the areas of Sderot, Ibim, and Nir Am, three projectiles were identified crossing from the northern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory.
One projectile was intercepted by the IAF, one fell in Sderot and another projectile fell in an open area. No injuries were reported.

IDF: Earlier today (Monday), two soldiers in the Reconnaissance Battalion of the Nahal Brigade were severely injured during combat in the northern Gaza Strip.
