IDF: IDF Operational Activity Continues Throughout the Gaza Strip
IDF troops, following IDF and ISA intelligence, continue operational activity against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.
IDF troops continue to operate in the area of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, eliminating terrorists and dismantling terrorist infrastructure sites, weapons, and underground infrastructure. Over the past day, the troops located and dismantled a missile launcher. In addition, in northern Gaza, IDF troops located and dismantled operational centers, eliminated terrorists, and dismantled additional terrorist infrastructure sites.
IDF troops continue operations in the Khan Yunis area of the southern Gaza Strip. Over the past day, forces identified a terrorist preparing to attack them and coordinated an airstrike that successfully eliminated the threat.
Over the past day, the IAF struck more than 150 terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including terrorists, booby-trapped structures, weapons storage facilities, anti-tank missile and sniping posts and additional terrorist infrastructure sites.
IDF: Activities in Commando Headquarters and the Locating of Weapons Caches: Footage From IDF Activities in Syria to Prevent Weapons Smuggling Along the Syrian–Lebanese Border
Troops of the 810th Brigade, under the command of the 210th Division, continue to operate in the Syrian arena, alongside their defensive mission in the Har Dov area in the Lebanese arena.
During the week, reserve battalions operating under the brigade’s command identified several central commando headquarters of the former Syrian regime in the Mount Hermon area, which were responsible for the Syria–Lebanon region during the Assad regime period.
During the activity, the troops located military equipment and more than three tons of weapons, including anti-tank mines, dozens of explosive devices, and rockets. All the findings were confiscated by the troops.
These searches in the Syria–Lebanon border area are intended to prevent attempts to smuggle weapons between the countries, in order to protect the security of Israeli civilians, particularly the residents of the Golan Heights.

In Precise Strikes: The IDF Continues Eliminating Terrorists in Units Working to Restore Hamas and Islamic Jihad Military Capabilities
Over the past two weeks, guided by IDF intelligence and the ISA, the IDF struck and eliminated a series of commanders in various units in Hamas’ military wing and the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization. The units operated to rebuild the terrorist organizations’ military capabilities, including the Weapons Production Headquarters and the Military Intelligence Unit.
Hamas’ Weapons Production Headquarters operates to restore and expand its weapons arsenal, while the Military Intelligence Unit provides intelligence through various means in order to maintain the operational control of Hamas’ military wing in the Gaza Strip and to advance terrorist activities against Israel.
The eliminated terrorists:
Muhammad Abu Awwad – Senior terrorist in the Projects and Development Department in Hamas’ Weapons Production Headquarters. Awwad was responsible for developing and advancing the terrorist organization’s precision missile project, and was Head of Production and Technical Control in the department.
Bilal Abu Shikha – Section Commander in Hamas’ Weapons Production Headquarters.
Tayseer Shareem – Section Commander in Hamas’ Weapons Production Headquarters.
Mundhir Salami – Production Site Commander in Hamas’ Weapons Production Headquarters. Salami oversaw the production of various types of weapons and significantly contributed to Hamas’ military buildup in the Gaza Strip.
Bilal Musallam – Section Commander in Hamas’ Military Intelligence Unit.
Rabi‘ Mustafa Rabi‘ Sukhweil – Financial Operative in Hamas’ Military Wing. He was involved in transferring millions of dollars in terror funds to the terrorist organization, and as such, financed its continued terrorist activities and its re-establishment.
Ahmad Abu Shamala – Squad Commander in Hamas’ Military Intelligence Unit.
Mustafa Dababesh – Deputy Head of Department in Hamas’ Weapons Production Headquarters.
Muhammad Al-Bayouk – a Senior Terrorist in the Islamic Jihad’s Weapons Production Apparatus.
The IDF is acting to prevent the terrorist organizations’ attempts to reestablish their military capabilities. As part of this effort, the IDF is pursuing the commanders responsible for carrying out concrete actions aimed at rebuilding these terrorist organizations and will continue to operate in order to eliminate them.
