IDF: Projectile launch toward Israel by the Hamas terrorist organization fell inside the Gaza Strip and hit a school

Yesterday (Monday), several projectiles were launched by the Hamas terrorist organization from the area of Maghazi in the central Gaza Strip toward Israel. The projectiles did not cross into Israeli territory and fell inside the Gaza Strip. One of the projectiles fell and hit a school in the area of Nuseirat.
The Hamas terrorist organization’s rocket fire continues to endanger both Israeli and Gazan civilians alike.

Over the past day, IDF troops began operational activity in the area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, eliminating terrorists in tank and aerial strikes. As part of the activity, IDF aircraft struck over 50 terror infrastructure sites, including weapons storage facilities, observation posts, and structures used by Hamas terrorists, as well as underground tunnel routes in the area.

Additionally, IDF troops are continuing precise, intelligence-based operational activity in the Rafah area. During the activity, the troops eliminated dozens of terrorists in targeted aerial strikes and close-quarters combat.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded regarding a hostile aerial infiltration in northern Israel, numerous suspicious aerial targets were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Several of the targets were intercepted, several hits were identified in the area of Mount Meron. No injuries were reported.

Additionally, following the sirens that sounded in the area of Galilee panhandle a number of projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Most of the projectiles were intercepted, hits were identified in the areas of Margaliot, Misgav Am and Kiryat Shmona. No injuries were reported.

Israel Fire and Rescue services are currently operating to extinguish several fires that were ignited as a result of the attack.

IDF artillery struck the sources of the fire.

Furthermore, earlier today, an IAF aircraft struck a vehicle in which Hezbollah terrorists were operating in the area of Chaqra in southern Lebanon.

IDF: Following calls on civilians to evacuate the areas where Hamas was operating, the IDF has been operating against terrorist operatives and infrastructure in the Khan Yunis area over the past 24 hours

Yesterday (Monday), the IDF called on Gazan civilians to temporarily evacuate from specific areas of Khan Yunis. This was carried out following intelligence indicating that terrorists were operating and firing rockets in these areas, as well as efforts by Hamas to reassemble its forces there.

Following this, the troops of the 98th Division have been operating above and below ground in the Khan Yunis area over the past 24 hours.

The 7th Brigade led the divisional activity and eliminated several terrorists in encounters with terrorist cells in the first hours of combat.

The Paratroopers Brigade and the Commando Brigade began scanning the area and dismantling terrorist infrastructure.

Additionally, by directing an IAF aircraft, the troops of the Commando Brigade eliminated a terrorist cell that posed a threat to IDF troops.

IDF: A short while ago, a Hezbollah terrorist was identified exiting a launch site in the area of Tallouseh in Lebanon, from which projectiles were fired toward the Galilee Panhandle earlier this afternoon. The IAF then struck the terrorist operative.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded in the area of Kiryat Shmona in the past hour, approximately fifteen projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Several were intercepted, the rest fell in open areas around Kiryat Shmmona.

Additionally, a number of projectile launches from Lebanon were identified crossing into Israeli territory and falling in the area of Har Dov, a number of hits were identified in the area.
IDF artillery is striking the sources of fire.

Furthermore, the IAF struck a Hezbollah missile launcher in the area of Kfarhamam, terror infrastructure in the area of Ayta ash Shab and an observation post in the area of Khiam.
