During the incident in which Sergeant Ori Itzchak Hadad fell, an additional soldier from the Nahal Brigade was severely injured. The soldier was evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. His family has been notified.
IDF: A kilometer-long tunnel was destroyed: about 100 terrorists eliminated and more than 100 terrorist structures destroyed by the 99th Division in the central Gaza Strip
The 99th Division, the only reserve division operating in the Gaza Strip, has been fighting for the past few months in the area of the central Gaza Strip. The soldiers have eliminated approximately 100 terrorists and destroyed more than 100 terrorist structures, weapons storage facilities, observation posts, launch pits and underground tunnel routes.
In cooperation with the Yahalom Unit, the troops destroyed a terrorist tunnel one kilometer in length. The tunnel included branches which were used by terrorists to move between different locations underground. In addition, the troops operated against a booby-trapped mosque that was used as a hideout for terrorists in the area. Secondary explosions were detected after the strike, indicating the presence of large quantities of weapons stored at the site.

IDF: Inside the Tunnels of Rafah: The Islamic Jihad’s Largest Long-Range Rocket Production Site in the Gaza Strip
In precise, intelligence-based operational activity, the combat teams of the Commando Brigade, the 401st Brigade and the Yahalom Unit under the command of the 162nd Division, conducted a targeted raid on an outpost and underground production site belonging to the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in the Tel al-Sultan area in Rafah.
The troops located the Islamic Jihad’s largest underground site for the production of rocket parts and long-range rockets in the Gaza Strip.
During the operation, Commando and Yahalom soldiers operated simultaneously above and below ground to eliminate terrorists with drones and precise missiles.
The Islamic Jihad terrorist organization has manufactured hundreds of rockets at this site over the past few years.
The destruction of the outpost and the underground production site damages the Islamic Jihad’s ability to produce and fire rockets at Israeli civilians and communities.

IDF: Yesterday (Monday), approximately 20 projectiles were launched from the area of Khan Yunis toward Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip.
Overnight, the IDF struck terror targets in the area from which the projectiles were fired, including a weapons storage facility, operational centers, and additional terrorist infrastructure sites. Prior to the strike, the IDF took precautionary measures to mitigate harm to uninvolved civilians, including by enabling civilians to evacuate from the area.
The Hamas terrorist organization continues to systematically violate international law while using civilian infrastructure and the civilian population as human shields for its terrorist activities against Israel.
IDF: IDF operations against terrorist operatives and infrastructure continue in the areas of Shejaiya, Rafah, and central Gaza
In the area of Rafah, IDF troops identified and ambushed an armed terrorist squad advancing in a vehicle toward them. The troops fired at the terrorists and eliminated them. In addition, the IAF struck and dismantled several terrorist infrastructure sites in the area over the past day.
IDF troops continue operational activity in the area of Shejaiya. An IAF aircraft, in cooperation with ground troops, conducted strikes during which terrorists were eliminated and dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites above and below ground were dismantled, including tunnel shafts, weapons storage facilities, and a structure from which an anti-tank missile was fired at the troops.
Additionally, during targeted raids conducted in the area, IDF troops located large amounts of weapons, including AK-47 rifles, military vests, and additional military equipment.
Over the past day, during targeted raids in the central Gaza Strip, IDF troops eliminated terrorists in close-quarters combat and located weapons and large amounts of military equipment.
Furthermore, the IAF struck approximately 30 terror targets, including weapons storage facilities, terrorist infrastructure sites, and Hamas military structures over the past day.

In the incident in which Master Sergeant (Res.) Nadav Elchanan Knoller and Major (Res.) Eyal Avnion fell, a reserve soldier in the 121st Battalion, 8th Brigade, was severely injured.
Additionally, a soldier from the 52nd Battalion, 401st Brigade, was severely injured during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
All of the soldiers have been evacuated to hospitals for medical treatment and their families have been notified.

IDF: Ammunition Hidden in Humanitarian Aid Boxes and Long-Range Rockets Located; Activity of the 7th Brigade in Shejaiya
Over the last few days, the 7th Brigade Combat Team has been fighting in the area of Shejaiya. The troops are eliminating terrorists, locating weapons and underground tunnel shafts, and conducting operations against terrorist infrastructure and buildings rigged with explosives.
The soldiers located ammunition that the enemy hid in boxes that were intended to be transferred as part of humanitarian aid. In another search, the soldiers located a weapons storage facility containing explosives and long-range rockets.
