IDF Updates – June 14th

IDF: As a result of an anti-tank projectile attack in the area of Manara, one IDF soldier was moderately injured and an additional soldier was lightly injured. The injured soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. Their families have been notified.


IDF: Following the sirens that sounded in the area of Ya’ara at 20:14, two projectiles that were identified crossing from Lebanon fell in open areas. No injuries were reported.

In addition, following the sirens that sounded at 20:01 regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration in northern Israel, it was determined to be a false identification.

A short while ago, IAF fighter jets struck a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Jarmac in southern Lebanon.

IDF: IDF operational activity continues across the Gaza Strip

Last night (Thursday), several projectiles fired from the northern Gaza Strip were identified crossing into southern Israel. A number of the projectiles were intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array and the rest fell in open areas. No injuries were reported. IDF aircraft and artillery struck the launch sites from which the projectiles were fired, as well as a weapons storage facility in the vicinity.

IDF troops are continuing intelligence-based, targeted operations in the area of Rafah. IDF: The Commanding Officer of the Southern Command in a Situational Assessment in Rafah: “The plan is clear going forward, we are continuing to move forward until we achieve our goals”

The Commanding Officer of the Southern Command, MG Yaron Finkelman held a situational assessment in Rafah this week (Wednesday) with the Commanding Officer of the 162nd Division, BG Itzik Cohen and other commanders. MG Finkelman spoke with the troops in the field in the combat teams of the Givati, 401st and Commando Brigades and praised them for effective, precise, intelligence-based and targeted operational activity to thwart terrorists and terrorist infrastructure in the Rafah area.

From the remarks of the Commanding Officer of the Southern Command, MG Yaron Finkelman: “The plan is clear going forward. With the quality of the troops and the quality of the commanders here, we are continuing to move forward until we achieve our goals here. IDF: Interception of 11 Hostile Aircraft Launched from Lebanon; Footage of IAF Defensive Activities

Over the last 72 hours, the Hezbollah terrorist organization launched 16 hostile aircraft from Lebanon toward Israeli territory, 11 of which were intercepted by IAF aerial defense systems and fighter jets.

The Israeli Air Force is continuing to operate at all times to thwart terrorist activities and protect Israel’s skies from any threat.
