IDF: Commanding Officer of the Southern Command to the Commanders Operating in Rafah: You are Degrading the Rafah Brigade; our Directive is to Continue Forward
Today, the Commanding Officer of the Southern Command, MG Yaron Finkelman, held a situational assessment in Rafah with the Commanding Officer of the 162nd Division, BG Itzik Cohen, the Commanding Officer of the 401st Brigade, COL Benny Aharon and other commanders. MG Finkelman spoke with the commanders about the operational achievements in the Rafah area and the development of the operations.

IDF: Earlier this evening, IAF fighter jets struck several Hezbollah terror targets in four locations in southern Lebanon, including terrorist infrastructure in the area of Chaqra and Taybeh, as well as military structures in the areas of Mehabib and Kfarkela.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the area of Nirim, a community near the Gaza Strip, it was determined to be a false identification.
IDF: Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the area of Netiv HaAssara, a community near the Gaza Strip, it was determined to be a false identification.
IDF: Earlier this morning (Monday), a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon into the maritime space near Acre in northern Israel was successfully intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array. No sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
IDF: IDF operational activity continues in the central and southern Gaza Strip
IDF troops are continuing intelligence-based, targeted operations in the area of Rafah. IDF troops located numerous weapons and struck a number of structures rigged with explosives that posed a threat to the forces.
Simultaneously in the Tel Sultan area, several terrorists posing a threat to the forces were eliminated in close-quarters combat and by drones.
Furthermore, a weapons storage facility from which anti-tank missiles were fired toward IDF troops was destroyed. No IDF injuries were reported and the forces located grenades, explosive devices, military equipment, and additional explosive materials.
IDF troops are continuing to operate in the central Gaza Strip. Over the past day, the troops eliminated armed terrorists in close-quarters combat.
In addition, a number of military structures posing a threat to the troops and used by Hamas for terror purposes were destroyed.
