IDF: Yesterday (Wednesday), the IDF struck in the area of Barish in southern Lebanon and eliminated the terrorist Yassin Abd al-Mun’im ‘Izz al-Din, the Hezbollah artillery commander in the Litani sector.
During the war, Yassin advanced numerous attacks toward northern Israel. He also operated to re-establish Hezbollah’s artillery forces.
Yassin Abd al-Mun’im ‘Izz al-Din’s activities constituted a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF continues to monitor and thwart Hezbollah’s attempts to advance its readiness to harm the State of Israel under the cover of the war with Iran, and will continue to eliminate any threat posed to the State of Israel.
IDF: Following the situational assessment, the Home Front Command published that it is now permitted to leave protected spaces in several areas across the country.
Search and Rescue forces are operating in several locations across the country in which reports of fallen projectiles were received.
The public is requested to continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command.
IDF: The IAF struck dozens of military targets including an inactive nuclear reactor in the area of Arak
Overnight (Thursday), 40 IAF fighter jets, with the precise intelligence direction of the IDF Intelligence Directorate, struck dozens of military targets in Tehran and additional areas throughout Iran, using over 100 munitions.
As part of the strikes, and as part of the broad effort to prevent the Iranian regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon, the nuclear reactor in the area of Arak in Iran was targeted, including the structure of the reactor’s core seal, which is a key component in plutonium production.
Construction of the reactor began in 1997 but was not completed due to international community intervention.
The reactor was originally intended for the production of weapons-grade plutonium, capable of enabling the development of nuclear weapons. In light of various agreements, in recent years the Iranian regime advanced its conversion to produce low-grade plutonium, which is not suitable for the production of nuclear weapons. However, the regime deliberately ordered not to complete the conversion that would have prevented its use for nuclear weapons — in order to exert pressure on the West.
The strike targeted the component intended for plutonium production, in order to prevent the reactor from being restored and used for nuclear weapons development.
Additionally, the IAF struck a nuclear weapons development site in the area of Natanz. The site contained components and specialized equipment used to advance nuclear weapons development, and projects designed to accelerate the regime’s nuclear program were hosted there.
Furthermore, the IAF also struck military production sites belonging to the Iranian regime, including factories producing raw materials, components used in assembling ballistic missiles, and sites for the production of Iranian air defense systems and missiles.
Additionally, air defense batteries, surface-to-surface missile storage sites, detection radar systems, and detection equipment belonging to the Iranian regime, were neutralized from the air.

IDF: Overnight (Thursday), the IDF struck and eliminated the terrorist Mohammad Ahmad Khreiss, Commander of Hezbollah’s anti-tank unit in Hezbollah’s Chebaa outpost in the area of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.
During the war, the terrorist advanced numerous attacks against the State of Israel and led the anti-tank missile attack on Mount Dov, which resulted in the death of Sharif Suad on April 26, 2024. In addition, the terrorist continued to advance terror activity in southern Lebanon in a way that violated the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF continues to monitor and thwart Hezbollah’s attempts to increase its readiness to strike the State of Israel under the cover of the war with Iran. The IDF will continue to eliminate any threat posed to the State of Israel.
IDF: A short while ago, alerts were activated on the Home Front Command app in several areas across the country.
After looking into the matter, no threat was identified. It is possible that this was a technical malfunction. The incident is under review.

“Early this morning, an Iranian ballistic missile directly hit the Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva.
This hospital serves over one million Israelis, including Bedouins, Jews, Christians and Arabs alike.
Iran targeting civilian centers with ballistic missiles is no surprise for us.
They have been openly declaring their desire to destroy the State of Israel for decades now.
These aren’t just words. Over the past six days, Iran has launched over 450 ballistic missiles and hundreds of UAVs.
This is exactly why we cannot — and will not — allow this regime to obtain nuclear weapons or expand its missile arsenal.
And so we continue our operations, striking Iranian nuclear weapons facilities, missile launchers and military sites.
Iran targets civilians; we target an existential threat that endangers global security.
And we will prevail.
Thank you very much.”
[11:51 AM, 6/19/2025] Shalom Menora: IDF: A short while ago, approximately 20 IAF fighter jets completed a series of intelligence-based strikes in western Iran. In all of the strikes, surface-to-surface missile infrastructure sites and soldiers in Iran’s military forces were struck.
In addition, the IAF identified the movement of trucks carrying surface-to-surface missiles. The trucks were struck when they arrived at the launch sites.

In the last few days, Israeli Air Force aircraft identified several attempts by Iranian regime security personnel to rehabilitate missile launch and storage sites after they had been struck by the IDF.
The aircraft targeted and dismantled the engineering equipment and eliminated dozens of soldiers of the Iranian Armed Forces operating in the area.
The IAF continues to operate in Iranian airspace to eliminate threats to Israel’s home front. The IDF will not allow the Iranian regime to rehabilitate launch infrastructure aimed at Israel’s home front.

The reserve soldiers of the 646th Brigade Combat Team are operating in the Shejaiya and Daraj Tuffa areas of the northern and central Gaza Strip.
During Operation “Gideon’s Chariots,” the forces eliminated dozens of terrorists and, in cooperation with the Israeli Air Force and engineering forces, dismantled more than 500 military structures and terrorist infrastructure sites located both above and below ground.
As part of the operation, the forces located and dismantled a terrorist tunnel shaft inside a residential building in Shejaiya and a 500-meter-long underground tunnel route in the area.
In another operation, the soldiers identified a terrorist attempting to fire a mortar shell at the forces. The terrorist was quickly eliminated by air support.

I am here at the Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, at the site where a ballistic missile launched this morning from Iran hit directly this hospital. This is exactly the face of this regime, it’s a terror regime. We are targeting military targets, and they are targeting civilians. They are aiming to kill as many civilians as they can. And this is exactly why we launched this operation. We cannot allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. We cannot allow Iran to obtain ballistic missiles. It is an existential threat for Israel. It is an imminent threat for Israel. We will do whatever we can in order to dismantle this threat.
