IDF: The IDF continues precise operations in the area of Zeitoun in central Gaza, as well as in specific areas of eastern Rafah
The IDF is continuing a precise counterterrorism operation in specific areas of eastern Rafah. Over the past day, IDF troops located several underground tunnel shafts in the area. On the Gazan side of the Rafah crossing, the troops eliminated several terror cells during close-quarters combat and with an aerial strike. In addition, several sites located in the area of Rafah from which rockets and mortars were fired at Israel over the last few days, including toward the Kerem Shalom Crossing, were struck by IDF aircraft.
Based on ISA and IDF intelligence, IDF troops have been operating in the Zeitoun area in the central Gaza Strip to eliminate terrorists and dismantle terrorist infrastructure. Over the past day, IAF fighter jets struck a number of terrorists and Hamas terror targets, including a structure rigged with a large number of explosives.
In addition, the IDF struck terrorist infrastructure sites across the Gaza Strip, including anti-tank missile launchers and tunnel shafts.
Moreover, IDF troops identified a terrorist cell exiting a weapons storage facility and approaching them in central Gaza. An IAF fighter jet struck the cell. A weapons storage facility and an additional terrorist from the cell were struck shortly after by the IAF.
Over the past day, IAF fighter jets and additional aircraft struck approximately 40 terror targets in the Gaza Strip, including military structures, observation posts, terrorist cells, and additional terrorist infrastructure.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded earlier today (Friday) in the area of Kerem Shalom, one launch was identified crossing from the Rafah area into Israel. The launch was successfully intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array.
A short while ago, sirens again sounded in the area of Kerem Shalom. The IDF Aerial Defense Array intercepted an additional launch from the Rafah area.
IDF: A Series of Exercises to Enhance Readiness on the Northern Border Took Place This Week
The Northern Command continues enhancing readiness and preparation for various combat scenarios in the north. Earlier this week, the reserve battalions of the 6th Brigade participated in a brigade-level exercise in the Western Galilee, led by the Ground Forces Training Center.
In the exercise simulating warfare in Lebanon, infantry, armored and engineering forces alongside logistics and communication support personnel, practiced operational cooperation in rugged and complex terrains using camouflage and combat techniques.
Since the beginning of the war, the 6th Brigade has been defending Israel’s northern border, with a wide deployment of soldiers from Rosh HaNikra to the Golan Heights.
In an exercise conducted by the 91st Division, the division’s headquarters and its commanders trained for a variety of scenarios to accelerate readiness for an operation in this arena.
The 769th Brigade also held an exercise alongside the Israeli Air Force and the Logistics Corps of the Northern Command, to train for a scenario of rapid aerial resupply to ground forces operating in enemy territory.

IDF: Over the past few hours, two armed Hezbollah terrorists were identified adjacent to a military structure in the area of Yaroun, in southern Lebanon. Shortly afterward, IAF fighter jets struck the terrorists.
Earlier today (Friday), IAF fighter jets struck Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in the area of Kfarkela. Furthermore, a Hezbollah military structure in which terrorists were operating was struck in the area of Blida.
Following the sirens that sounded regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration, it was determined to be a false alarm.

IDF: Locating Weapons inside a School and Eliminating Terrorists in the Zeitoun Area; Targeted Operations against Terrorist Operatives and Infrastructure in Specific Areas of Eastern Rafah
In recent days, the Nahal Brigade has been operating in the area of Zeitoun in the central Gaza Strip as part of an operation led by the 99th Division.
The soldiers carried out targeted raids on terrorist infrastructure in the area, eliminated a number of terrorists in ground and aerial operations, located weaponry and intelligence assets belonging to Hamas, and destroyed terrorist infrastructure together with the brigade’s Fire Control Center.
As part of the operation, the soldiers carried out a targeted raid on a school where weapons, AK-47s, and ammunition were located inside the classrooms.
In parallel, the Givati Brigade is currently operating in a precise, counterterrorist operation led by the 162nd Brigade in specific areas of eastern Rafah. The forces are operating to destroy terrorist infrastructure and secure the area, where they located weapons and tunnel shafts, and eliminated dozens of terrorists.

IDF: Earlier today (Friday), Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) announced the transfer of 200,000 liters of fuel to international organizations in the Gaza Strip through the MOD Crossing Points Authority’s Kerem Shalom Crossing.
The fuel was transferred to address the ongoing and essential requirements of the international community, including hospitals, humanitarian areas, logistical centers and the distribution of humanitarian aid.
All of the trucks carrying the fuel were inspected by CPA workers at the Kerem Shalom Crossing.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the area of Be’er Sheva, nine launches were identified that crossed from the area of Rafah and fell in open areas.
Furthermore, throughout the past hour, the IDF identified five additional launches from the central Gaza Strip toward the city of Be’er Sheva. A rocket that fell in the area was identified and the incident is under review.
IDF: A short while ago, the IDF completed a series of strikes on terror targets in the areas of Odaisseh, Khiam, Rab El Thalathine, Deir Siriane, Ayta ash Shab and Mhaibib in southern Lebanon.
As part of the strikes, IAF fighter jets dismantled five Hezbollah military structures, as well as an additional Hezbollah military launch post, from which launches that crossed into northern Israel were fired.
