Joint IDF, Israel Police and ISA Announcement:
Earlier today (Friday), IDF, Yamam and ISA forces operated in the area of Nablus in order to apprehend the terrorist Noor Beitawi, the head of the Islamic Jihad’s terror network in Jenin.
The terrorist advanced significant terror activities and was involved in directing, funding, and executing terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and Israeli security forces. Additionally, Beitawi maintained ties with Hamas in Gaza and Hamas abroad.
Beitawi was responsible for transferring terror funds to Jenin and other villages in the area. He operated to recruit and arm terrorists in order to carry out terrorist attacks against IDF soldiers. Simultaneously, he led the production and planting of explosives in the area of Jenin.
The terrorist was wanted for several months after he was identified by Israeli security forces fleeing from Jenin toward the area of Nablus, following the counterterrorism operation in northern Samaria. Following ISA intelligence and operational activity, the terrorist was located in a residence in Nablus.
IDF, Yamam and ISA forces encircled the residence in which he was operating and eliminated him and an additional terrorist.
Israeli security forces will continue to act against terrorism in Judea and Samaria to ensure the security of Israeli citizens.

IDF: *After Hamas Terrorists Surrendered in Rafah and Were Questioned by the ISA, IDF Troops Located and Dismantled Underground Terrorist Infrastructure in Rafah*
During the 188th Brigade’s activities in the Rafah area, terrorists from the Hamas terrorist organization surrendered and were subsequently taken in for questioning by the ISA.
During the interrogation by the ISA, the terrorists provided significant intelligence information that revealed the location of underground infrastructure in the area. This facility served as living quarters and as an operational hub for key Hamas terrorists in the ‘Shabura’ area of Rafah.
Soldiers from the Yahalom unit along with additional troops, under the command of the 188th Brigade, began an intelligence-guided operation during which they located the underground terrorist infrastructure — approximately one kilometer in length and situated about 25 meters deep.
Within the infrastructure, the soldiers located living quarters, bathrooms, a small kitchen, blast-proof doors, and several exit shafts. Upon completing their investigation of the site, the troops proceeded to dismantle the infrastructure.
During the operation, the troops entered additional terrorist infrastructure sites in the area, where they located weapons and military equipment. All the weapons were dismantled.

Joint IDF and ISA Announcement:
A short while ago, the IDF and ISA struck several Hamas terrorists who were operating in the area of Jabalia, in northern Gaza.
Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.
The terrorist organizations systematically violate international law, exploiting civilian infrastructure and the Gazan population as human shields for terrorist activity.
The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.

IDF: *The Commanding Officer of the Golani Brigade: “We will continue to lead, to defend, and above all, to act in the spirit of the fallen.”*
In recent months, the Golani Brigade has been operating in the Rafah area and the ‘Morag Corridor’. So far, the troops have neutralized threats in over 1,000 structures, located dozens of tunnel shafts, and eliminated dozens of terrorists.
In recent days, the brigade’s troops have been operating in the ‘Jeninah’ area of Rafah. ‘Jeninah’ is the last location where combat against terrorists is taking place in Hamas’ Rafah Brigade area.
The troops are conducting operations in a coordinated and methodical manner, focusing their efforts on defeating the enemy above the ground while dismantling underground infrastructure in the area.
Troops of the 36th Division, including the Golani Brigade, continue operations in the Gaza Strip and are prepared to expand their activities to several additional locations.
From the remarks of the Commanding Officer of the Golani Brigade, COL A, in a conversation with commanders and soldiers of the brigade combat team on Thursday:*“Jeninah is a tough area, but the Golani brigade combat team is tougher. We remember why we’re here — to bring the hostages home and defeat Hamas, until victory. There’s no other place and no other forces I’d rather fight alongside — the spirit and the people, the strength and determination — that’s the Golani brigade combat team”*

IDF: With the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, IDF troops are continuing their operational activity against the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip, dismantling terrorist infrastructure sites above and below ground, and eliminating terrorists.
Yesterday (Friday), IDF troops operating in northern Gaza eliminated two armed terrorists who approached the troops and posed a threat to them.
Simultaneously, IDF troops operating in the area of Rafah and the Morag Corridor struck a booby-trapped compound from which several terrorists were operating and posed a threat to the troops.
Over the past day, the IAF struck approximately 60 terror targets in the Gaza Strip.
