IDF: A short while ago, following a search carried out by the IDF in the Samaria area, an individual suspected of carrying out the stabbing attack at the Yitzhar Junction this morning (Thursday) was apprehended by IDF soldiers in the town of Awarta.

IDF: Earlier today (Thursday), an explosive UAV crossed from Lebanese territory into northern Israel and exploded in the area of Metula. The incident is under review.

As a result of the explosion, an IDF soldier was severely injured and two additional soldiers were lightly injured. The soldiers were evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment. Their families have been notified.


IDF: The Chief of the General Staff at the northern border: I am returning from here with a sense of very high levels of readiness

Yesterday (Wednesday), the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, held a situational assessment and tour at the 210th Division with the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command, MG Ori Gordin, the Commanding Officer of the 210th Division, BG Zion Ratzon and other commanders.

And that’s what you are telling me, you are showing me very high level of readiness. I’m returning from here with a sense of very high levels of readiness, you will continue to develop it and we will make the decisions based on the developments. The important thing, high readiness, strong responses, finding the right targets, harming the other side.”


IDF: Earlier today (Thursday), an IAF aircraft, in a targeted strike in the area of Qana, eliminated a terrorist cell on their way to carry out an immediate terror attack on Israeli territory.

Throughout the day, IAF fighter jets struck and destroyed a series of Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanese territory.

The targets that were struck include a military structure and observation post in the area of Ayta ash Shab, an additional observation post and terrorist infrastructure in the area of Meiss El Jabal, a military structure in the area of Kfarkela, and two military structures in which terrorists were operating in the areas of Houla and Naqoura.

Over the past few hours, IDF soldiers struck to remove threats in a number of locations in Lebanese territory.

IDF: Loaded rocket launchers located in eastern Rafah; the Shaked Battalion continue operations in the area

The soldiers of the 401st Brigade combat team, under the 162nd Division, continue precise operations in specific areas of eastern Rafah.

During the brigade-level operation, soldiers of Unit 414, operating under the 401st Brigade combat team, flew drones that located rocket launchers loaded and ready-to-fire long-range rockets into Israeli territory. These launchers were used by the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to launch rockets toward Israel in recent months. The rocket launchers were destroyed by the IDF.

In another targeted raid, the soldiers located significant rocket launch infrastructure in the Rafah area and rockets ready to be launched. The launch infrastructure was used to fire rockets towards Israel in recent months and has now been destroyed.

IDF: IDF operational activities continue in the areas of Jabalya and Rafah

Over the past day, IDF troops have expanded combat zones and intensified operational control in the area of Jabalya.

Earlier today, IAF fighter jets and additional aircraft struck a weapons storage facility and eliminated several terrorists who fired mortar shells at IDF troops. No IDF injuries were reported.

Moreover, IDF troops continue operational activities in several locations in Rafah. The troops dismantled a launch site containing long-range rocket launchers in eastern Rafah.

Furthermore, IAF fighter jets and additional aircraft struck approximately 60 terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip over the past day, including military structures, terrorist cells, weapons storage facilities, anti-tank positions, and additional terrorist infrastructure.

IDF: The 7th Brigade eliminated more than 60 terrorists in the past days in Jabaliya; Footage from a weapons warehouse located a few meters from a shelter

The 7th Brigade led the divisional-level offensive in Jabaliya and is now fighting in the city center.
In less than a week of operations, the soldiers encountered dozens of terrorists, initiated contact, and eliminated more than 60 terrorists through ground and aerial operations.
Even now, the soldiers are exchanging fire with terrorist cells in the area. The 7th Brigade’s fire control center directed dozens of airstrikes, eliminated terrorists, and destroyed terrorist infrastructure.

Soldiers of the 101st battalion located a weapons warehouse with dozens of long-range rockets ready for use, dozens of rocket parts, explosives, and other weapons.
The weapons warehouse is located about ten meters from a shelter complex from which the population was evacuated and where 20 terrorists were apprehended.

Forces also located a rocket launcher in the area and destroyed it.

IDF: A few hours ago, the IAF struck terrorist infrastructure where Hezbollah terrorists operated in the area of al-Najariya in southern Lebanon. The terrorist infrastructure contained several compounds used by Hezbollah’s Aerial Defense Array and posed a threat to Israeli aircraft.

Hezbollah’s Aerial Defense Array deliberately operates from within civilian areas, thus endangering the lives of civilians in southern Lebanon.

The IDF will not tolerate a violation of aerial operational freedom and will operate to defend against any threat. We warn the citizens of Lebanon to refrain from cooperation with the Hezbollah terrorist organization and emphasize that in doing so, they endanger themselves and their surroundings.

IDF: The IDF and ISA rescued the bodies of the hostages Yitzhak Gelernter, Shani Louk, and Amit Buskila

The bodies of the hostages Yitzhak Gelernter, Shani Louk, and Amit Buskila were rescued overnight during a joint IDF and ISA operation.

Based on verified intelligence in our possession, Yitzhak Gelernter, Shani Louk, and Amit Buskila were murdered during the October 7th Massacre at the Mefalsim Intersection, and their bodies were abducted to Gaza.

The bodies of the hostages were rescued during a joint IDF and ISA operation, based on precise ISA intelligence obtained during the interrogations of terrorists who were apprehended in the Gaza Strip, as well as intelligence from IDF Intelligence Directorate’s Headquarters for the Hostages and Missing Persons.

Following an identification procedure carried out by medical officials at the Israeli National Forensic Institute and the Ministry of Health, IDF representatives notified their families. The IDF and ISA send their heartfelt condolences to the families.

The IDF Spokesperson calls on the public to refrain from spreading unfounded rumors and fake news and to listen to official announcements.

The IDF and ISA continue, even at this time, to deploy all operational and intelligence means and to take operational risks in order to accomplish the supreme national task of bringing back all the hostages.

IDF: The IDF eliminated a senior commander of the Jamaa Islamiya terrorist organization in Lebanon who cooperated with Hamas against Israel

Earlier today, IAF aircraft operated in the area of Majdal Anjar to eliminate the terrorist Shurahbil Ali Alsayed, a senior commander of the Jamaa Islamiya terrorist organization in Lebanon.

Shurahbil promoted numerous terror attacks from Lebanon against Israel in the eastern arena recently, as well as in cooperation with Hamas’ wing in Lebanon.

His elimination was carried out to degrade the capabilities of the terrorist organization to promote and carry out terror attacks that he planned recently and meant to execute in the immediate future against that State of Israel along the northern border.

Based on ISA intelligence, an IAF fighter jet and helicopter struck a compound used as an operations center of the terror infrastructure in Jenin.
A number of significant terrorists were inside the compound, some were involved in shooting attacks in the area of Jenin and planned to carry out additional terror attacks in the immediate future.

IDF: Over 300 Pallets of humanitarian aid; the first entry of humanitarian aid through the floating pier

In recent weeks, the IDF and the Ministry of Defense have made extensive preparations to receive the temporary floating pier.

This has involved ongoing cooperation between the IDF and COGAT with US CENTCOM to establish the temporary floating pier for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.

Accordingly, for the first time since the establishment of the temporary floating pier, today (Friday) IDF supported the transfer of 310 pallets of humanitarian aid into Gaza for distribution.

The IDF will continue its efforts to facilitate and increase the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip by land, air and sea, and in accordance with international law.
