IDF: IDF operational activities continue throughout the Gaza Strip; IDF troops conducted a targeted raid in the area of Beit Hanoun

Over the past few days, IDF troops began conducting a targeted raid in the area of Beit Hanoun in northeast Gaza to eliminate terrorists, locate and strike terror infrastructure, below and above the ground.

During operational activity in the area yesterday (Wednesday), three IDF soldiers fell and their names have been published. The IDF expresses its deepest condolences to the families and will continue to accompany them. IDF troops are continuing activities in the area. In cooperation with the IAF, the troops struck numerous terror targets, including an anti-tank launch post, a military compound, and sniper posts.

Moreover, IDF troops identified a terrorist opening fire at the troops from a nearby military compound and directed an IAF aircraft that targeted and eliminated the terrorist upon identification. Shortly afterward, an additional terrorist was identified opening fire at IDF troops from the same compound. The troops directed a fighter jet that struck the compound and eliminated the terrorist.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded in the area of Metula in northern Israel a short while ago, it was determined to be a false alarm.


IDF: Over 370 food pallets and shelter equipment transferred into Gaza via the U.S. temporary floating pier; Humanitarian aid trucks continue to cross into Gaza through the Kerem Shalom and Erez West Crossings

The IDF, via COGAT and the Israeli Navy, are working in cooperation with the U.S. to operate the temporary floating pier for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip. Yesterday (Wednesday), 27 trucks containing 371 pallets of humanitarian aid, including food and shelter equipment, were transferred to the logistics centers belonging to international aid agencies in the Gaza Strip.

In parallel, humanitarian efforts to facilitate the entry of trucks containing food, water, medical supplies and shelter equipment via land crossings into the Gaza Strip continue.…


IDF: IDF troops continue operational activities in the areas of Rafah, Jabaliya, and central Gaza

IDF troops are continuing operational activity in specific areas of Rafah. The troops are currently operating based on information regarding terror targets in the areas of ‘Brazil’ and ‘Shaboura’ while making every effort to prevent harm to civilians and after the civilian population in the area was evacuated.

IDF troops located a rocket launcher ready to fire at IDF troops. Moreover, the troops located and dismantled a number of terror tunnel shafts and launchers in the area, and eliminated several terrorists during close-quarters encounters.

Based on the direction of IDF troops, IAF aircraft eliminated three terrorists belonging to a mortar squad, who fired mortar shells at IDF troops in the area of Rafah.

IDF troops also continue operational activities in the area of Jabaliya. In cooperation with the IAF, the troops targeted several Hamas terrorists during strikes on military compounds used for weapons storage. Furthermore, IDF troops located numerous weapons, including AK-47 rifles, snipers, magazines, explosive devices including grenades, and additional military equipment.

In parallel, IDF troops continue operational activities in the area of the corridor in central Gaza. Over the past day, in cooperation with the IAF, the troops conducted several strikes, including the head of a terror squad who operated from within a hideout residence, two terrorists who opened fire at IDF troops, and a terrorist who invaded into Israel on October 7th.

IDF troops continue operational activities in central Gaza. Over the past day, the troops identified several terrorist cells. During one of the activities, a cell was identified carrying military equipment and entering a compound. The troops directed an IAF aircraft that eliminated the terrorists.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the Upper Galilee region, approximately 30 launches were identified crossing from Lebanese territory. Some of the launches were intercepted and the rest fell in open areas. No injuries were reported.
In response, an IAF aircraft struck and destroyed the launcher from which the projectiles were fired.

Furthermore, following the sirens that sounded regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration in northern Israel, it was determined to be a false alarm.


IDF: Earlier today (Thursday), the Hezbollah terrorist Muhammad Ali Nasser Faran, responsible for significant weapons manufacturing and proliferation infrastructure, was struck and eliminated by an IAF aircraft in the area of Nabatieh, southern Lebanon.

In recent years, Ali Nasser Faran was responsible for the manufacturing of strategic and specialized weapons for Hezbollah. Over the last few months, Hezbollah weapons manufacturing infrastructure that he was responsible for has been struck by the IDF.

The elimination of Ali Nasser Faran is part of the IDF and Israeli security forces’ activities to impede Hezbollah’s stockpiling and build-up of weapons designated for use in attacks against Israeli civilians and communities.

IDF: The IDF and ISA eliminated the Commander of Hamas’ Beit Hanoun Battalion in an underground area in Jabaliya

As part of IDF operational activity in the area of Jabaliya, IAF special forces and the ‘Yahalom’ Unit eliminated the terrorist Hussein Fiad, the Commander of Hamas’ Beit Hanoun Battalion, during special operational activity in an underground area.

Fiad was responsible for launching a significant number of the anti-tank missiles that were fired at Israeli territory throughout the war, along with extensive mortar fire toward Israeli communities near the northern Gaza Strip.

Fiad’s elimination is part of the IDF’s operational activity above and below ground to locate tunnels and eliminate the terrorists operating within them.

IDF: A short while ago, two suspicious aerial targets that approached the city of Eilat from the east were successfully intercepted by IAF fighter jets.

The targets did not cross into Israeli territory, and no sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
