IDF: A short while ago, a UAV that approached northern Israel from the east was successfully intercepted by an IAF fighter jet outside of Israeli territory.

During the interception attempts, shrapnel fell in northern Israel, causing a fire in the area of Safed. No injuries were reported, and the incident is under review.

IDF: IDF operational activity continues throughout the Gaza Strip

Last night (Thursday), two projectile launches that were identified crossing from Gaza City fell in open areas. An IAF aircraft struck and destroyed the launch post.

The IDF continues operational activity in Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip. During targeted raids on terrorist infrastructure in the area, the troops eliminated dozens of terrorists and destroyed launch posts and underground tunnel shafts. The troops also located numerous weapons including explosive devices, mortar shells, AK-47 rifles, sniper rifles, and others.

IDF: The IDF and ISA rescued the bodies of the hostages Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, and Orion Hernandez

The bodies of the hostages Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, and Orion Hernandez were rescued overnight during a joint IDF and ISA operation.

Based on verified intelligence in our possession, the hostages were murdered during the October 7th Massacre and were abducted from the Mefalsim Intersection to Gaza by Hamas terrorists.

The bodies of the hostages were rescued overnight during a joint IDF and ISA operation in Jabaliya, based on precise intelligence obtained and analyzed over the past days by the IDF Intelligence Directorate’s Headquarters for the Hostages and Missing Persons in collaboration with the ISA. At the beginning of the operation, intense combat was carried out in the area.

Following an identification procedure carried out by medical officials at the Israeli National Forensic Institute and the Israel police, IDF representatives notified their families today. The IDF and ISA send their heartfelt condolences to the families.

The IDF Spokesperson calls on the public to refrain from spreading unfounded rumors and fake news and to listen to official announcements.

The IDF and ISA continue, even at this time, to deploy all operational and intelligence means in order to accomplish the supreme national task of bringing back all the hostages.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded regarding rocket launches in northern Israel a short while ago, it was determined to be a false alarm.

IDF: Operations of the LOTAR Counterterrorist Special Forces Unit in Jabaliya

In recent weeks, soldiers of the Counterterrorist Special Forces Unit (LOTAR Unit), operating under the 460th Brigade Combat Team, have been fighting in the area of Jabaliya. The soldiers fought in cooperation with armored forces to destroy terrorist infrastructure, eliminate terrorists and locate and destroy tunnel shafts in the area.

During the operations, the soldiers uncovered a structure containing large quantities of weapons, including rocket launchers and long and short-range missiles.

IDF: Earlier today (Friday), the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that approached Israel from Lebanese territory.

In addition, earlier today, IDF troops identified Hezbollah terrorists entering a military structure in the area of Maroun al-Ras. Shortly after the identification, IAF fighter jets struck the military structure in which the terrorists were operating, as well as an additional Hezbollah military structure in the area of Meiss El Jabal in southern Lebanon.

Yesterday (Thursday), IDF artillery struck to remove a threat in the area of Marwahin in southern Lebanon.

IDF: The IDF and ISA eliminated the deputy commander of Hamas’ national security forces in the Gaza Strip; The IDF continues its efforts to precisely neutralize additional senior terrorists in the Gaza Strip

Yesterday (Thursday), IAF fighter jets directed by the IDF and ISA struck and eliminated in central Gaza the terrorist Deya Aldin Alsharafa, deputy commander of Hamas’ national security forces in the Gaza Strip.

Alsharafa was responsible for overseeing the forces that secured the Gaza Strip’s borders. During the war, these forces prevented the civilian population from evacuating from combat zones.

In addition, the Hamas terrorist Yusuf Alshubaki was eliminated this week in Gaza City. He served in the industrial equipment department on Hamas’ Staff and was responsible for the operation and advancement of Hamas’ weapons production.
