IDF: A short while ago, the IAF conducted a series of intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah terror targets in the Dahieh area, a key Hezbollah terrorist stronghold in Beirut, where Hezbollah has systematically embedded its terrorist infrastructure amidst the Lebanese civilian population, cynically exploiting them as human shields. Among the targets struck were a weapons storage facility, a command center, and Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure.
Prior to the strikes, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk to civilians, including the gathering of prior intelligence, using aerial surveillance, and issuing advance warnings to the population in the area.
IDF: Activity of the Commando Brigade in Southern Lebanon
Troops of the Commando Brigade, under the command of the 91st Division, have been conducting limited, localized, targeted raids based on precise intelligence in recent days in complex terrain in southern Lebanon, in the area from which missiles and rockets were fired toward Israeli communities.
With the use of special equipment, airstrikes and tank fire, the troops are eliminating terrorists as well sweeping the area to locate and dismantle rocket launchers, underground infrastructure, and weapons.
The 7th Armored Brigade, operating under the Commando Brigade Combat Team, located an underground shaft used as a weapons storage facility. Inside, they found crates of equipment containing explosives, ammunition, and grenades. The infrastructure was dismantled using explosives. A truck was found containing a mobile rocket launcher aimed at Israeli communities.
Additionally, Commando Brigade troops located anti-tank missiles, mortar shells, military vests loaded with combat equipment belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization, and over 25 crates containing new rockets ready for launch. All the weapons and equipment was seized or dismantled.

IDF: The Chief of the General Staff in Kfarkela in Southern Lebanon: “We will continue to fight, to implement plans, conduct deep strikes, and hit Hezbollah very hard”
This week, the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, held a situational assessment in the Kfarkela area in southern Lebanon along with the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command, MG Ori Gordin, the Commanding Officer of the 91st Division, BG Shai Klapper, and other commanders.

Attached are the full remarks of the Chief of the General Staff: “Hezbollah has paid a big price, its chain of command has collapsed, many of its operatives have been killed, and extensive infrastructure dismantled. This organization will continue to fire, and we will continue to fight, to implement plans, to go further, conduct deep strikes, and hit Hezbollah very hard. We will stop when we know that we are bringing back the residents (of northern Israel) in safety.
We maintain a close watch on Iran, Yemen, Iraq, terrorism in Judea and Samaria, and two days ago, we were in Gaza. Also there, it’s far from quiet. Reserve soldiers are doing outstanding work, and we hear the same voices everywhere—serious, responsible, aware of the gravity of the moment, and genuinely ready to do whatever it takes. They tell us, the commanders, and I believe they’re telling the country as well, we are giving it our all, take care of us properly. This is a significant statement.
We are making significant efforts to address this. We’ve allocated substantial resources alongside the government, focusing on families as well. We understand how challenging this is—it’s abundantly clear. I receive letters from reserve soldiers’ wives, reflecting the hardships, which are understandable. We are striving to improve care for families. Some commendable efforts have been made, and we aim to do even more”.
IDF: Following a situational assessment, the areas of Metula and Kfar Yuval in northern Israel were declared a closed military zone as of 19:00 today (Saturday). Entry to this area is prohibited.

IDF: A short while ago, the IAF conducted a series of intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah command centers, weapons storage facilities, and terrorist infrastructure sites in the area of Tyre in southern Lebanon.
The strikes targeted a number of military assets belonging to Hezbollah’s ‘Aziz’ Unit, which is responsible for carrying out attacks from southwestern Lebanon area against Israel.
Prior to the strikes, numerous steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including by collecting prior intelligence, leveraging aerial surveillance, and issuing advance warnings to the civilian population in the area.
This is a further example of Hezbollah’s cynical abuse of civilian areas for military activities that deliberately endangers the lives of Lebanese civilians.
