IDF: Transfer of 1,000 Blood Units Through the Erez West Crossing to A-Sahaba Hospital in Northern Gaza; COGAT-led Humanitarian Efforts in the Medical Field Continue

In accordance with the directives of the political echelon and as part of efforts to provide medical supplies to the civilian population of Gaza, 1,000 blood units were transferred yesterday (Monday) through the Erez West Crossing after undergoing thorough security checks at the Kerem Shalom Crossing. This transfer was coordinated by COGAT’s CLA for Gaza, in collaboration with international organizations. The blood units have arrived at the A-Sahaba Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip to support operations, ongoing medical treatments, and the maintenance of essential hospital services.

Additionally, since the outbreak of the war, 14 field hospitals have been established in coordination with international organizations, alongside the entry of over 2,800 trucks carrying 28,000 tons of medical equipment and hygiene products for Gaza residents.

The IDF, through COGAT, will continue to act in accordance with international law to provide humanitarian aid to the civilian population of the Gaza Strip, particularly in the medical field.

IDF: Hezbollah Weapons Found in a Schoolyard

During operations in southern Lebanon IDF troops found a weapons depot, including ammunition, firearms, explosives, and an observation post in the courtyard of a school in a village in southern Lebanon.

The weapons were confiscated. This serves as further proof of Hezbollah’s cynical use of civilian infrastructure for its terrorist activities, which endangers the residents of southern Lebanon.

During searches in the area, the troops located and dismantled an underground terrorist infrastructure dozens of meters long where hundreds of weapons, ammunition, cannons, RPGs, and more, were located and confiscated.

IDF troops continue conducting limited, localized, targeted raids based on precise intelligence to neutralize and dismantle terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

IDF: The IDF eliminated the Commander of Hezbollah’s medium-range rocket array

Yesterday (Monday), with the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF struck and eliminated the terrorist Ali Tawfiq Dweiq, the commander of Hezbollah’s medium-range rocket array, in the area of Kfar Jouz in southern Lebanon.

Dweiq commanded the medium-range rocket array since September 2024, replacing the previous commander who was eliminated. Dweiq was responsible for the launch of over 300 projectiles toward the State of Israel, including toward Haifa and central Israel.

Over the past few months, the IDF struck dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites used by Hezbollah’s medium-range rocket array, including launchers that were aimed toward the State of Israel, weapons storage facilities and additional terrorist infrastructure.

These eliminations are part of IDF efforts to degrade Hezbollah’s rocket launching array and its capabilities to fire rockets toward the State of Israel.
