IDF Updates – November 30th

IDF: Numerous Weapons Located Near a Hospital and Mosque in Rafah

In recent months, Nahal Brigade soldiers have been operating in the Rafah area under the command of the Gaza Division.

Over the past week, the troops conducted searches near a hospital and a mosque in Rafah and located weapons, anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles, ammunition, AK-47 rifles, grenades, military vests, and more.

Terrorists and terrorist infrastructure were targeted in precise strikes led by the brigade’s Fire Control Center. In one of the strikes, the troops eliminated a terrorist cell that had placed explosive devices in the area.

IDF: The IDF acted during the day against activities in Lebanon that posed a threat to the State of Israel, violating the ceasefire understandings.

In one case, armed operatives were observed loading a vehicle with RPGs, boxes of ammunition, and other military equipment.
A short while later, the IAF struck the vehicle.

Hezbollah terrorists were also identified approaching Hezbollah structures in southern Lebanon.
The IAF struck the terrorists. IDF forces subsequently located weapons, including grenades and guns, on the terrorists.

In addition, a short while ago, terrorist activity in a Hezbollah facility with rocket launchers was identified in the area of Sidon in southern Lebanon.
The IAF struck the launchers.

During an additional incident, the IAF conducted an intelligence-based strike on a military vehicle operating in the area of a Hezbollah rocket manufacturing site.

The IDF is deployed in the southern Lebanon area, operating against any threat to the State of Israel and enforcing any violation of the ceasefire agreement understandings.

IDF: Following a situational assessment held by the Chief of General Staff LTG Herzi Halevi, the Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, determined that as of this evening (Saturday) at 18:00, changes will be made to the Home Front Command’s defensive guidelines.

As part of the changes, the activity scale in the areas of the Confrontation Line and the Northern Golan will change from Limited Activity to Partial Activity.

In the rest of the country, Full Activity will be permitted without the restriction on gatherings except for the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip (Full Activity with the restriction of gatherings of up to 2000 people).

Guidelines published on the official Home Front Command channels must be followed by the public. Full guidelines are updated on the National Emergency Portal and the Home Front Command app.

IDF: Earlier today, the IAF, with the direction of the Intelligence Directorate struck a ready-to-launch launching site, directed toward southern Israel, in the Humanitarian area in Deir al Balah.

After the strike, rockets were seen flying from the struck launching site. The rockets did not cross into Israeli territory.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence.

This is another example of the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip exploiting the civilian infrastructure and the Humanitarian area.

The IDF will continue to operate against terrorist organizations that use the Humanitarian area as cover.

Joint IDF and ISA Announcement:

Earlier today (Sunday), with the direction of the ISA, an IAF aircraft struck and eliminated a terrorist cell that carried out several shooting attacks against communities in the Gilboa area.

The head of the cell who was eliminated in the strike, was Wael Lahluh, a 31 year old resident of Qabatiya. Lahluh carried out the shooting attack at the Mehola junction on August 11th, 2024 – an attack in which Yonatan Deutsch was killed and another Israeli civilian was injured. After carrying out the attack, Lahluh continued to operate in Jenin, recruiting terrorists and planning to carry out additional terror attacks in the near future.

Immediately after the strike, IDF soldiers conducted a targeted raid in the area and located three weapons on the bodies of the terrorists. Moreover, additional weapons parts, military vests, and explosive materials were located.

The security forces will continue to operate to thwart every threat against the citizens of the State of Israel.
