IDF: Over the past day (Wednesday), the IAF struck Hezbollah terror targets throughout Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, including command and control centers and weapons storage facilities.
The Hezbollah terrorist organization systematically takes control of civilian areas and infrastructures throughout Lebanon and embeds its commanders and operatives in civilian areas in order to plan and carry out terror attacks, placing Lebanese civilians in danger.
Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk to civilians, including issuing advanced warnings to the population in the area.
These strikes are part of the IDF’s continuous efforts to dismantle and degrade Hezbollah’s capabilities and impair the organization’s ability to rehabilitate itself.

IDF: IDF Troops in Southern Gaza Uncovered and Destroyed Two Extensive Terror Tunnels and Eliminated Terrorists Involved in the October 7th Massacre
In recent weeks, the troops of the Southern Gaza Brigade and the Desert Reconnaissance Battalion completed a targeted operation to dismantle terror infrastructure above and below ground in the southern Gaza Strip.
The operation began with preliminary strikes by the IAF, directed by the brigade’s Fire Control Center, on anti-tank positions, booby-trapped buildings, and means of observation that posed a threat to the troops.
During the operation, the forces uncovered and destroyed two underground attack tunnel routes with a combined length of over two kilometers. The tunnel routes included approximately twenty exit shafts, some of which were booby-trapped with explosives, and weapons were located inside.
During the activity, the troops encountered several terrorists emerging from the tunnel route. The terrorists were eliminated by both ground forces and in aerial strikes. Two of the terrorists who were eliminated had participated in the October 7th Massacre: Baha Abu Qarshin, commander of the Nukhba force in the Shabura Battalion, and Muhammad Ibrahim Sateri, a Hamas terrorist.

IDF: Earlier today (Thursday), with the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on terrorists who were operating inside a command and control center in the northern Gaza Strip.
The command and control center previously served as the UNRWA ‘Al-Shataa School’, and was used by Hamas terrorists to plan and execute terrorist attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.
Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.
This is a further example of the Hamas terrorist organization’s systematic abuse of civilian infrastructure in violation of international law. The IDF will continue to operate against Hamas in defense of the citizens of Israel.
IDF: IDF Chief of the General Staff to Northern Local Authorities: “Nothing symbolizes victory more than the safe return of residents, and we will make this journey together. In any diplomatic agreement that might be, if there are violations, the IDF will enforce them with fire.”
Today (Wednesday), the Chief of the General Staff LTG Herzi Halevi, along with the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command, the Commanding Officer of the Home Front Command and the Head of the Planning Directorate, met with heads of northern municipalities and councils, including Kiryat Shmona, the Upper Galilee, Mevo’ot HaHermon, Ma’ale Yosef, and Shlomi.
IDF Chief of the General Staff LTG Herzi Halevi: “Nothing symbolizes victory more than the safe return of residents, and we will make this journey together. We are targeting the infrastructure that Hezbollah has been building since 2006 with maximum strength, ensuring it won’t reemerge. It doesn’t end with this; we are continuing with determination and strength. I meet the troops in the field, proud to be fighting for the noble goal of bringing the residents home safely. We need to prepare organized plans and ensure it will be better here than it was before the war. We have the right to defend ourselves, and in any diplomatic agreement that might be, if there are violations, the IDF will enforce them with fire. Throughout the war, the level of coordination and cooperation between the IDF and the local authorities has been among the highest we have ever seen.”
