IDF: Footage From the Interrogation of a Hezbollah Terrorist Apprehended in Southern Lebanon: “Everyone [fled], after the assassination of Hassan (Nasrallah), no one has seen any of them”

During the IDF’s activities in the area of southern Lebanon last weekend, an underground tunnel shaft was located in a building leading to an area where terrorists operated, with a nearby exit shaft.

The troops encircled the building, examined the tunnel shaft, and located an area where the apprehended terrorist, Wadah Kamel Younis, was embedded.

After the terrorist surrendered and was apprehended, he was interrogated on-site and then taken for further questioning by investigators from Unit 504 at a detention facility in Israel.

In his interrogation, he said: “Everyone [fled], the four (the commander of the area and his deputy), from the beginning, they already fled.” Regarding the ‘Radwan Force,’ he said: “Lack of faith, people without religion, came to receive money and that’s it, they were afraid [of Israel]… they wanted to respond to an attack, advance to the Galilee, after the assassination of Hassan (Nasrallah), no one has seen any of them.”

IDF: A short while ago, with the direction of precise IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted a strike on strategic weapons belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization. These weapons were stockpiled by Hezbollah in an underground storage facility in the area of Dahieh, a key Hezbollah terrorist stronghold in Beirut.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including advancing warnings to the population in the area.

IDF: Israeli Navy Strikes on Terrorist Infrastructure of the Hezbollah Terrorist Organization

Since the beginning of the 146th Division’s limited, localized, targeted raids based on precise intelligence in southern Lebanon, Israeli Navy forces have struck dozens of Hezbollah terror targets in cooperation with the troops on the ground.

The vessels struck rocket launchers, military structures, and weapon storage facilities of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which supported the ground troops’ combat.

From the remarks of the Commanding Officer of the Haifa Naval Region, Rear Admiral Eli Soholitzky: “The IDF’s multi-branch capability in combat is evident in the offensive operation ‘Northern Arrows’. Missile ships, patrol vessels, intelligence posts, command posts, fire control, and other means play an integral role in offensive and defensive missions in the northern arena, and supporting the troops of the 146th Division.

Over the last few months, we have operated side by side in the air, at sea, and on land. We will continue to operate and strike with force as needed to safely return the residents of the north to their homes.”

IDF: The IDF struck dozens of Hezbollah terrorist targets in the Nabatieh area, dismantling underground infrastructure used by Hezbollah’s Radwan Forces in southern Lebanon

IDF troops continue limited, localized, and targeted operational activity against Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon. Over the past few days, the troops located and conducted targeted raids on a large network of underground infrastructure and tunnel shafts that included living quarters, and armories, and found a large quantity of weaponry.

This infrastructure was intended to aid Radwan forces as part of Hezbollah’s “Conquer the Galilee” plan.

The tunnel network was embedded in the heart of a town, beneath the homes of Lebanese civilians that were used by Hezbollah terrorists, who cynically exploited civilian infrastructure in southern Lebanon. This morning (Wednesday), the tunnel network was dismantled by IDF troops.

Earlier today, with the direction of the IDF Northern Command, the IAF struck dozens of Hezbollah terrorist targets in the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon. The targets include terrorist infrastructure sites, Hezbollah command centers, and weapons storage facilities, which were embedded by Hezbollah adjacent to civilian infrastructure, exploiting the civilian population as a human shield.
