IDF: Overnight, the IAF conducted a series of targeted, intelligence-based strikes against dozens of facilities and sites used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to finance its terrorist activities against the State of Israel. The strikes were conducted in the areas of Beirut, southern Lebanon, and deep within Lebanese territory.
These funds, which Hezbollah used for terror activities, were stored by the Al-Qard al-Hassan Association, which directly funds Hezbollah’s terror activities, including the purchase weapons and payments to operatives in Hezbollah’s military wing. The Hezbollah terrorist organization stores billions of dollars in the association’s branches, including money that was directly held under the name of the terrorist organization.
Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including advance warnings issued via different platforms to the civilian population in the area.
These strikes are part of the IDF’s ongoing efforts to degrade Hezbollah’s terror infrastructure, its military capabilities and ability to rebuild.
IDF: Over the past hour, IAF fighter jets struck short-range missile launchers directed toward the communities of northern Israel in southern Lebanon. IAF fighter jets struck 15 launchers that were aimed toward Israeli civilians, including the launchers from which projectiles were fired toward the Western Galilee, and terrorist infrastructure used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization in several areas in southern Lebanon.

IDF: The 188th Brigade Destroys Weapons Storage Facilities and Vehicle with Rocket Launcher Near Residential Areas in Southern Lebanon
The 188th Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the 36th Division, continues operations in southern Lebanon. Forces are eliminating terrorists and destroying underground infrastructure and large quantities of weapons.
This week, soldiers located and destroyed a weapons storage facility located in a residential neighborhood, adjacent to a house. The facility contained dozens of long- and short-range missiles, ammunition, mortars, machine guns, explosives, and medical equipment.
In another operation, forces identified and destroyed a vehicle equipped with a rocket launcher found near a house. The vehicle was fully equipped and prepared to launch rockets towards Israeli communities.

IDF: Terrorist Infrastructure Dismantled in Southern Lebanon
The soldiers of the Commando Brigade are currently conducting limited, localized, targeted raids based on precise intelligence in southern Lebanon.
The soldiers are operating in the area to clear and neutralize threats, exposing and striking the enemy with precision munitions. As part of the troops’ operation, the soldiers directed drones with explosive missiles, which struck and dismantled anti-tank launch positions and command posts used by operatives of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
The troops located a storage facility in the area containing dozens of rockets, grenade machine guns, military vests, helmets, and other combat equipment belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
Additionally, the brigade’s Fire Control Center directed an IAF aircraft that struck and destroyed a weapons storage facility containing Kornet missiles and a launch position of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which was aimed at the communities of the Galilee Panhandle.

IDF: As of 15:00, approximately 60 projectiles that were fired by the Hezbollah terrorist organization have crossed from Lebanon into Israel today (Monday, October 21th).
The IDF will continue to defend the State of Israel and its people against the threat posed by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
IDF: Following the sirens that sounded in the areas of Sderot and Ibim, the IAF intercepted a projectile that crossed from the northern Gaza Strip.
Following the sirens that sounded over the past two hours in the areas of the Upper Galilee, Western Galilee and southern Golan, approximately 30 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
Some of the projectiles were intercepted. Fallen projectiles were identified in the areas.
Israel Fire and Rescue Services are operating to extinguish numerous fires that were ignited in the area as a result of the attack.
Following the sirens that sounded between 15:43 and 15:44 in the areas of Beit She’an Valley, Menashe, HaAmakim, and the Lower Galilee, the IAF intercepted two projectiles that were fired from Lebanon.
No injuries were reported during any of the incidents.
IDF: Over the past week, over 30 UAVs that were launched toward the State of Israel were intercepted by the IAF.
The five UAVs that were intercepted a short while ago, were launched from Lebanon.

“We struck close to 30 targets across Lebanon, a type of Hezbollah’s financial system, ‘Al-Qard al-Hassan,’ which receives funds from Iran, provides loans, and ultimately finances Hezbollah’s terrorism. We are striking senior command levels in Beirut, and you are dealing with the lower command levels. This overall effort forms a complementary response, including against Iran, which ultimately funds, sends weapons, and dispatches personnel here. Be aware that we are addressing that aspect as well.
Yesterday, we lost a brigade commander, Ehsan Daxa, Commanding Officer of the 401st Brigade. I saw him from a distance, taking command of the brigade in Rafah during combat, on the radio in the tank, commanding the brigade. I met him several times, always in Rafah, and he left a very impressive mark. I know Ehsan was an exceptionally professional and serious commander, leading from the front as it should be. He is truly an exemplary role model.”
IDF: Seven Hezbollah Brigade Commanders Eliminated: IDF Troops Continue Precise Operations in Southern Lebanon
IDF troops continue conducting targeted and precise operations in the Lebanese sector. Through close coordination between air, intelligence, and firepower forces, seven brigade commanders, 21 battalion commanders, and 24 company commanders of the Hezbollah terrorist organization have been eliminated so far.
Additionally, the IDF has struck over 3,200 terror targets, including hundreds of weapons storage facilities, rocket launchers, anti-tank posts, terrorist infrastructure and command and control centers. Of these, approximately 300 targets were hit in the last 24 hours alone.
