IDF: IDF troops continue operational activity in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip

IDF troops are continuing to conduct limited, localized, targeted raids against Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon. The IDF operated against infrastructure used by terrorists to carry out attacks, located weapons belonging to Hezbollah, conducted strikes on operatives, and destroyed rocket launchers used to fire at Israeli communities.

In one incident, the troops identified a terrorist cell operating next to a Hezbollah military structure that posed a threat to the troops. The troops directed the IAF to strike and eliminate the terrorist cell.

IDF troops continued targeted raids in the central and southern Gaza Strip, eliminating armed terrorists and dismantling terrorist infrastructure. In one incident, the troops identified terrorists inside a structure rigged with explosives in their vicinity, and directed the IAF to strike and eliminate the terrorists.

In Jabaliya, dozens of terrorists were eliminated in ground and aerial activity. Alongside the ISA, the troops are continuing efforts to evacuate civilians to safer areas, despite Hamas’ deliberate attempts to prevent civilians from moving away from combat zones. The troops also scanned and dismantled underground tunnel shafts, locating large quantities of weapons.

IDF: IDF Conducts Precise Operation Against Hamas Terrorist Stronghold Embedded Inside the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabaliya, While Preventing Harm to Civilians

Following intelligence information that indicated that terrorists had embedded themselves inside the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabaliya, the IDF and ISA conducted a precise operation in the area to thwart terrorist activity and apprehend terrorists. Before beginning scans in the compound, the soldiers enabled civilians to leave the hospital.

In order to maintain essential hospital systems and ensure patient care, the Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration (CLA) coordinated with the hospital to activate an additional generator, ensuring electricity and oxygen supply for patients.

A number of terrorists – including Hamas terrorists who took part in the October 7th Massacre – had barricaded themselves inside the hospital. The soldiers apprehended approximately 100 terrorists from the compound, including terrorists who attempted to escape during the evacuation of civilians. Inside the hospital, they found weapons, terror funds, and intelligence documents and in the surrounding area.

Throughout the war, Hamas terrorists have repeatedly operated from inside hospitals across the Gaza Strip, using them to hold hostages, execute terror attacks, and store weapons and explosives.

The IDF will continue to act in accordance with international law and act against the Hamas terrorist organization, while avoiding harm to civilians.

IDF: Earlier today (Monday), the IAF struck Hezbollah weapons and anti-tank-missile storage facilities, terrorist infrastructure, and observation posts in the area of Tyre in southern Lebanon. The compounds struck were all used by Hezbollah’s different units in its terror activities against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.

Parts of Tyre have been used as a central stronghold for Hezbollah and its ‘Aziz’ Unit, which is responsible for carrying out attacks from southwestern Lebanon against Israel.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including by issuing advanced warnings via different platforms to the civilian population in the area.

Hezbollah systematically abuses civilian infrastructure and areas in Lebanon to plan and execute terrorist activities, deliberately endangering the lives of Lebanese civilians.

These strikes are part of the IDF’s ongoing efforts to degrade Hezbollah’s military capabilities and prevent attempts by Hezbollah to re-build its terrorist infrastructure.

IDF: IDF Troops Dismantle Hezbollah Terrorist Infrastructure in Kfarkela

Over the past year, the IDF has conducted several special operations in the area of Kfarkela in southern Lebanon. During these operations, IDF troops conducted targeted raids to investigate and expose underground terrorist infrastructure, weapons storage facilities, and observation posts within Kfarkela, which serves as one of the main strongholds of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

In recent weeks, during the IDF’s limited, localized, targeted ground raids based on precise intelligence, troops of the 769th Brigade, under the command of the 91st Division, expanded their activity to the area of Kfarkela. The troops’ activity targets significant terrorist infrastructure located in the center of Kfarkela in order to neutralize Hezbollah’s capability to conduct a ground invasion from this area into northern Israel as part of their ‘Conquer the Galilee’ plan.

So far, IDF troops have located and destroyed underground terrorist infrastructure, hundreds of Hezbollah military structures, thousands of weapons, enemy intelligence documents, launchers, and tactical equipment belonging to Hezbollah’s Radwan Forces.

IDF troops operating in Kfarkela are dismantling the terrorist infrastructure that Hezbollah has embedded in the area, including inside civilian homes and infrastructure, over the course of many years.
