IDF Updates – September 13th

IDF: Over the past day, the IAF struck Hezbollah military structures in the areas of Aitaroun, Maryamine, and Chihine in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, the IAF struck a Hezbollah launcher in the area of Zibqin in southern Lebanon, from which launches were conducted toward Israeli territory in the past.

IDF: Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the area of Safed, approximately 20 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory.
Most were successfully intercepted, the rest fell in open areas. No injuries were reported.

Sirens alerting from rocket and missile launches were activated in the communities adjacent to Safed due to the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception.

Israel Fire and Rescue Services are currently operating in the area of Birya to extinguish the fire that erupted due to a fall in the area.


IDF: Following the hostile aircraft infiltration sirens that sounded in the upper Galilee area, a suspicious aerial target was identified crossing from Lebanese territory and falling in the area. The target did not fall within a community. No injuries were reported.

Following the siren that sounded a short while ago in the area of Misgav Am, two projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon and were successfully intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array. No injuries were reported.

Following the siren that sounded a short while ago in the area of Snir, one projectile was identified crossing from Lebanon and falling in an open area. No injuries were reported.
