During ongoing joint IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police counterterrorism activity in the areas of Tulkarm and Nur Shams, four terrorists were eliminated. Three of the terrorists were eliminated in an aerial strike on Wednesday, and the fourth terrorist was eliminated during close-quarters combat with the security forces. Muhammad Abu Ataya, one of the terrorists killed in the aerial strike, was suspected of killing Master Sergeant Maksim Rizhkov of the Israel Border Police ‘Yamas’ forces on October 19th, 2023. Approximately 15 additional terrorists were hit during the counterterrorism operation.

In the areas of Tubas, Tamun and Far’a, IDF, ISA, Israel Border Police, and Israel Prison Service forces conducted a 48-hour counterterrorism operation. In Tulkarm, the forces located and dismantled four explosive manufacturing laboratories and four operational communications centers equipped with cameras. Additionally, a machine used to manufacture weapons, within which weapon parts were found, and numerous IEDs in the area were dismantled.

Furthermore, five armed terrorists were struck and eliminated by an aircraft in Tubas.

During the counterterrorism operation in northern Samaria, an underground complex was located adjacent to a hospital in the Tulkarm camp. The complex has an entrance and no exit. The forces are continuing to investigate the complex and will dismantle it.

Additionally, the brigade practiced field casualty evacuations and coordinated operations between the various headquarters.

The brigade’s soldiers have been fully mobilized since the start of the war, and have operated to dismantle numerous terror infrastructure and eliminate terrorists in the northern arena.

IDF: Earlier today (Saturday), with the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on Hamas terrorists who were operating within two military structures in the area of Al Furqan in Gaza City.

The military structures were used by the terrorist operatives for various terrorist activities and to manufacture weaponry. The military structures used by Hamas were located adjacent to an area that previously served as a school, and currently serves as a shelter. Contrary to the claims, the IDF did not strike a fuel facility in the area.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.

The Hamas terrorist organization systematically violates international law, and operates from within civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip while exploiting the civilian population for its terrorist activities.

IDF: A short while ago, with the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on terrorists who were operating inside a Hamas command and control center embedded inside a compound that previously served as the Shuhada’ al-Zaytun school in Gaza city. The school compound was used by Hamas terrorists to plan and carry out terrorist attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.

Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence.

The Hamas terrorist organization systematically violates international law by operating from inside civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and exploiting the Gazan civilian population for its terrorist activities. The IDF will continue to operate against the Hamas terrorist organization in defense of the State of Israel.
